Zino by Davidoff for men

Zino is a grand scent! It's very dark and enchanting!

The first 10 minutes offered up issues since it smelled too 80s for me, but when I gave it a proper wearing, I realized it is very atemporal = patchouli, sandalwood, and a good hint of rosewood. The drydown is to die for! A magnanimous flower appears here and there to make things exquisite!

Zino is extremely easy to wear and lasts a pretty good while. I avoid using it in really hot weather. It also doesn't smell gourmand to me, like others have described it - patchouli with its chocolatey vibe might possibly be giving that sensation to some, but I'd classify this scent as an oriental. It's very, very nice!!

I think this perfume works perfectly for any man (or woman if she dares like me!) 30+, his 30s and it's an inexpensive alternative to niche frags.

I tried this frag. on in the stores many years ago, and had it on the back of my mind to maybe purchase it. When I saw that this site was selling samples of this, I thought that I'de like to try it again to refresh my memory. I thought it was sort of spicy but it's not. It's a classy and elegant fragrance but sort of strong. It's sort of sweet and very woody. I'm not sure if it's in that class of "powerhouse 80's" frags. cause this came out in the 80's. I thought this frag.reminded me of "Kokorico" and I even did a side by side test of both frags. What both frags. have in common is the patchouli, that can also be said of "Givenchy Gentlemen" which also is sort of similar. I don't like this frag. too well. It smells a little better in the drydown cause the strong notes subside. I don't think this frag. is for everyone. This is a frag. to be worn almost anytime of year at night to the clubs and casinos but especially more so in the Fall and winter months. I think this is better suited for mature and retired age guys.

Smells good to me. I wear this before going on stage and I'm 20 years old. I was shocked to see bad reviews.

This fragrance is OK. Its not my favorite by a long shot and it certainly is not the most memorable.
