Like the other reviewer, all I smell is rubbing alcohol when I opened this sample. I get no notes, nothing discernible. Puzzling and disappointing.
Average at best.

Average at best. I can't smell much of anything. It seems like mostly alcohol with a very light buy unidentifiable fragrance.
Real Magnolia

A very nice scent. Starts off very fruity with pomelo and pear blossom, and I still get wafts of those throughout the life of the fragrance. During the first two hours if I sniff my wrist I get the most realistic magnolia! It's hard to grasp, because it's in and out, but when it's there, it's so magical. The drydown still has this magnolia but mixed with sweet orchid (lightly sweet) and this is the weird part: kind of the light steam that comes off of rice when you cook it. It's not a strong smell, more like a feel of cloudiness hanging above the other notes of the fragrance. Interesting!
