Unfortunately, this is one of those scent purchases that was completely OFF the mark for me. I actually had to wash it off my skin after putting it on because it was just awful. It's hard to describe what I didn't like--the best I can do is to say it was like a combination of oregano and some kind of industrial cleaner.

Very nice quince, fresh and fruity rather than oriental, I agree. But I don't think it's particularly girlish or overly floral. I'm a 30 y/o man and really enjoy wearing this every once in a while during summer. Decent projection and longevity.
Light, girlish floral

Penhaligon's is selling this as an oriental perfume, but it is more of a light, girlish floral, with a little fruit in the opening. The quince is interesting (I like it in Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, too), and the longevity is decent. I would wear this, and enjoy it, if it were given to me, but it is not exactly what I was expecting.
