Nice wool weather frag
by Colin on May 19, 2017
Opens peppery and has a sweet vanilla dry down. Very pleasant but not unusual. Longevity and sillage are good. This gra would be best in cool winter months.

Ok
by Hope on May 19, 2017
I think this smells better on a woman than a man, but that's probably just my hang up with the vanilla. However, it does have a good bit of lavender to it which makes it smell masculine. It smells a little old timey to me. Not necessarily a bad thing.

I thought that it would smell a little better than it did but it does smell okay

Mature
by Ruebennase on Feb 21, 2017
Came across this on my quest for a good alternative to wear during colder days. It's a masculine spicy vanilla fragrance with noticeable pepper and cardamom notes. But too serious and mature for my taste (I'm 30).

Very Nice
by Ricki on Jun 6, 2016
Ordered 10 different samples and this is my overall favorite. I'm not very knowledgeable about colognes but I know what I like and this is my top pick - so far. I guess it's the vanilla that does it for me. This seems to be a pretty strong scent and does last all day or night. Love it.

Vanilla for men
by Gregory on Jan 11, 2016
A manly vanilla with just the right amount of spice. I was able to get a good day's wear out of it. Great for casual wear.

Fab on my man
by Stacia on Dec 18, 2014
This is one of the first colognes that I fell in love with on my husband. Way before I knew anything about anything fragrance related. Now it all makes sense--it's an Oriental, and I love Orientals. I love the warm spices, the way they are also fresh and work absolutely with the sweet vanilla, it's not cloying, or sickeningly sweet though. It feels so much more complex and inviting than The One. More unique. Definitely a draw for me, sweet and spicy.

Fresh, Spicy, and Vanilla Sweet!
by Heather on Mar 24, 2014
The pepper note on top is kind of interesting in such isolation, but within about 5 minutes of initial spritz, it quickly is joined by a huge dose of sweet vanilla. The aromatic lavender is subtle and also slightly present at this moment. I barely detect the cardamom and watercress, but maybe these notes are secrets underneath this most dominant vanilla! I really like the vanilla combined with the pepper, but some people may not - might want to 'try before buy' in this case.
MY TAKE: TOG stays rather linear as a simple pepper, vanilla, and patchouli fragrance - with a heavy dose of dry vanilla.
Longevity is spectacular! I get between 7-11 hours and projection - heavy at first before dropping to moderate after an hour or 2 of wear. I think it is best for cooler weather, but, I feel, it performs better than most orientals in fall and spring. It probably be pulled off on the coast on cooler summer evenings ... I bet that would be lovely!

For once I think fragrantica is smoking
by Jonathan on Feb 4, 2014
Silage above average but not to intense lasts a bit better than average. To me this is sandalwood, vanilla, pepper, and cardamom, with a touch of lavender. Good stuff good enough for 5 stars I would like it better iv the vanilla smelled less synthetic. Fragrantica and I disagree on the notes this is a fragrance that smells far less generic than most I have sampled lately. Pick up a sample
