Tatiana by Diane Von Furstenberg for women

This perfume is so interesting to me, as it's an eau de parfum, but it smells just like Arabian or Indian perfume oils do to me. It starts off with a lot of orange blossom, but this orange blossom is not so sweet, as it's laced with tart bergamot. It blooms into a white floral concoction, although I smell more jasmine than gardenia. It smells just like a jasmine hair oil I used to own. Every so often I get hints of fresh green leaves mixed in with the oily sweetness of the flowers.

The lasting power of this fragrance is not so great, I couldn't really smell it after 3 hours. But it is a nice floral fragrance, if you're looking for a slightly "oily" white floral.

Diane von Furstenberg is quoted as saying that she doesn't believe that a woman should smell like food, fruits, or candies. Well, she definitely made this perfume a true floral. I think that if one really adores gardenia, then this frag is for you. I mean, WOW ... gardenia for sure! I like gardenia in combination with other floral notes, but more dulled by the other notes. I find in this fragrance with my chemistry, the gardenia dominates 'everything' else. Therefore, Tatiana is not my cup of tea. A nice scent, but too strong on that particular flower for me.
