Leather, Booze & Pear

Leathery pear - who would've thought? I just love pear fragrances - and paired with patchouli, it's the perfect match. The leather note gives it a uniqueness, and almost a boozy quality. And in my opinion, it makes it a fairly unisex scent, despite the bottle design. Interesting scent indeed!

This is a wonderfully elegant (as the name implies) fragrance. Starts off with a pear note, I do not get any patchouli as others have suggested. Definitely a light leather later on (suede? some might call it). And I love the leather note. A little sour, but not in a bad way, just in a non-gourmand/candy way, later on. Then some powder. Great longetivity on my skin. I really like this!! It is definitely my style.

I usually go for Oriental, Heavy Floral and Gourmand scents but after trying this one out now I have a new love. The Pear note seems to just go very well with the Patchouli and Leather note. To me, the leather smell reminds me of the smell of the expensive Leather furniture that my previous doctor had in his waiting area which used to mix with the various perfumes that were in the air. Very classy scent!

I really liked the first few minutes of this fragrance, which were well-blended and perfume-y, in a good way. After that, it seemed to devolve into chemical soup. Yuck.
Leathery
