I love Shalimar and always have, but this edition is beyond words . . . I cannot even describe just how much I'm in love with it. My SO loves it too...bonus!

The blatantly obvious typical striking features of the classic Shalimar, bitter bergamot, vintage, dark incense, and juicy citruses are tamed with this exquisite, ultra smooth, yummy Mexican vanilla! You do sense the plum and chocolate/caramel notes - parts of this soft vanilla sweetness.

This smells like the very best of the classic with the dry down. It's even better - finer, drier, and less ouch, if you know what I mean. It is the modern Shalimar, if you will!
