Not My Cup of Tea
by Nicole on Oct 21, 2018
This has too many notes that I don't like crammed together and the first time I smelled it (back when it was released) I recoiled. This smells more like a men's cologne to me and is unbearably dry and bitter to my nose (the oakmoss).

Soft, gentle, and classic. The beauty of it is that despite being soft, it has incredible longevity. Would make a perfect signature scent.

Lovely strong scent

Very hard for me to find a perfume I actually like. I get many compliments on this.

Nothing to write home about. In terms of "Romance", I'd say it's less like the shouting-from-the-rooftops-in-love, flowers, chocolates, joyrides, and candlelit-restaurants, and more like the scrabble, matching-pajamas, crust-cuts-off-sandwiches, and missionary-position. (Unless it's strip scrabble) Inoffensive, generic, indistinguishably decent. Fine for office wear I suppose. A SAFE choice. I gave it to my mother haha

"Romance" does not fit how this smells on me. This smells sharp, cold, even masculine, and without a bit of sweetness on my skin. I know it plays differently on others, so if you like the notes listed, hopefully this will work better on you.

I have smelled this perfume before and knew I would like it. It is very floral with a little sweet. It lasts all day on me. I would like this for a summer scent.

Such a delicate smell. I just adore it!
by Stephanie on Dec 9, 2016
This is a very pretty fragrance, and the name is perfect, it is romantic and very feminine but without being overly sweet, which is so annoying. Personally, this one isn't really my style. However, it is high quality - well balanced so it's not overly floral - It's very safe and would not likely be offensive to anyone. I probably won't purchase any for my own collection - I have others that fit the "pretty" bill just as well or better. if I want to smell pretty, I put on Coco Mademoiselle, which to my nose is more exquisite than this one. If you're like me and you like more unique, sophisticated or unisex type fragrances, this one probably isn't for you, but with a name like Romance, you may have already figured that out!

This is quite nice, though I think there are much more romantic perfumes out there, try see by chloe
Depends on body chemistry
by linaya on Sep 15, 2016
This is one of those scents that works great with my body chemistry, on my sister it tends to smell like a musky bug spray. I've used this perfume for 10 years, because its crisp and soft at the same time, with very delightful floral notes. Long lasting, especially used in hair. I wear it for every season. To me, it evokes feminism; a very soothing scent.
Powerful, crisp rose
by Sharon on Jun 10, 2016
Spicy, aquatic, edible rose. Warm, soft and romantic, sure.. but there's a crispness here, making it suitable for cool winter and fall days. (Citrus notes tend to do this for me). Rather than being wispy and light, this is quite a powerful, confident rose scent.

This is a beautiful floral perfume. Very nice.

Not overwhelmingly floral, soft and delicate

I had heard good things about Romance and they were true. It smells soft and sexy.
womanly and light
by Diane on Mar 10, 2015
I'm ordering a larger size of this womanly fragrance that is light and lovely...not overpowering. Seemed to last fairly well, also, but will be able to tell more with a larger sample. Would make a good staple scent to have on hand.
Love this :)

This is so pretty :) Very girly and romantic. Maybe not the most interesting fragrance ever, and I'm sure there are many more like this one, but for what it is (feminine clean fruity floral with some woods) it's a good one.

This is a very girly floral. Not too sweet, but very fresh. Pretty and subtle.
Floral-Fresh - great on others!
by Heather on Apr 13, 2014
I'm always reluctant to utter that I don't care for a fragrance, because I try hard and can appreciate the scent of nearly every perfume I've experienced - even if I don't enjoy it on 'my' skin. I like the smell of Romance on other people - my sister to be exact! She smells amazing, and she really enjoys it!
It has a fruity, clean opening with something that is also sharp with floral. Sounds nice enough, right?, but for me, I cannot wear it. It really tried too. It is underwhelming and with so many great perfumes in this world, there isn't enough going on with Romance to keep me interested. I think it's probably too floral. Plus, it really doesn't last long either on me. I spritzed on no more than two hours ago, and I swear I can no longer smell it. It might be one of those scents that you become anosmic to, but others can certainly detect it. I really don't know in this case...had no one to back up that theory while wearing it.
I think for me, pouring my little sample vial into a hot bath would be the only way I might really enjoy this perfume! Maybe I should do that with all my fragrance samples that I find so-so or not-at-all (don't know why I hadn't thought it that idea before!) and maybe they might grow on me. That actually sounds like a wonderful idea right about now! (stay tuned ... I'll check out my theory and write another review soon with my findings!)
So, here it is: Romance is a classic for someone like my sister! It is so pretty and clean. Whenever she wants to smell fresh and clean, but also very warm, she reaches for Romance! You might like it also!!
