One of CK's better fragrances
by Sharon on Aug 4, 2017
This kind of reminds me of Calvin Klein's answer to Dune. It also reminds me of Lalique le Parfum - I know Reveal lacks the bay leaf that Lalique possesses, but it's still got that aquatic/exotic quality. This is a very light scent, which is strange for two reasons. Calvin Klein fragrances always muster up images of inescapably potent, strong perfumes. The second reason is that these are typically thick, dark, rich notes - though Reveal, in my opinion, is pretty light and airy considering. Very nice. One of CK's better fragrance offerings, for sure.

beachy
by Kathleen on Jun 11, 2016
very nice fragrance, starts off as a sandalwood. Kind of reminds me of estee lauder's sensuous. Then develops into a seashore/salty kind of thing. there is a pepper note in there but not too strong. Which is good, don't generally care for that. there is a very slight note of vanilla but that is fleeting. I like it. Is this what is called a skin scent? Not very obtrusive, very little sillage. But quite long lasting on the skin, a good 5 hours so far, which is good for me.

Pleasant summer memories
by Betsy on Apr 15, 2016
The pepper and salt, the powdery iris, and ambergris all lend a beachy feel. I can almost smell the sand. I do not care for the cashmere wood note: it smells synthetic, and almost like a melted plastic, like another reviewer stated.
That being said, it fits well into this fragrance, and is appropriate, as it lends a driftwood feel to the general picture.
This perfume does remind me of the beach, but not of hot weather or suntanning. I envision walking, not near the water, but near where the sandy coastline joins the rocky cliffline. It is sunset, and I'm getting ready to go home. I'm a child again, and I've had a fun day playing with my relatives and loved ones, and it is now time for the trip back home.
This is one if those perfumes that, to me, the mental image evoked by the scent, is even nicer than the scent itself.

Real Beach Scent
by Anyushka on Jan 13, 2016
I just got a sample of Reveal, put it on my wrist and at first I thought that it's just another one of those cucumber/melon fragrances (not listed but that's what I get). After a while, though, this familiar cozy, lovely scent reaches my nostrils...Reveal smells to me like a Summer version of Belle en Rykiel. BeR is on my other wrist now and there is a close similarity.
It makes me imagine myself walking on the sand in the morning, drift wood and algae dotting the beach, grains between my toes, the salty air in my nostrils...and no care in the world. It's a very casual, 'let your hair down' scent to me. Very nice indeed. It's like getting two for one.

Sweet and Warm
by Kristena on Apr 13, 2015
Very vanilla and cream. Some spice early and then gone on dry down. I would say this one is a fall/winter fragrance. Very sweet.

Salty :)
by Nazia on Mar 22, 2015
This is one of those almost edible fragrances, but it's not gourmand, really. It starts off peppery, then gets slightly sweet and creamy, almost milky. There is some yummy floral in there (iris), and the drydown is a lot like a salted caramel. Very intriguing. I took off one star only because at some moments, it can smell a bit plasticky. Still, very well done :)
