I like the opening better than the drydown.

This fragrance smells better in the opening than in the drydown. The opening has something in the notes that I like,but the drydown is more sort of between Aramis and BelAmi. I think cause of the leather and (or) tobacco notes in it. I havn't smelled this cologne in years and thought I'de try to sample it again. It's kind of strong. Just not in my tastes.
