Pure Turquoise by Ralph Lauren for women

Reminds me of a night out. a bit strong, but nice.

This is an old favorite of mine. It's not your run of the mill aquatic, it's fresh, but a little sour, and very invigorating. I love smelling this one, it brings back really nice memories of high school. It lasts a long time, too :)

Pure Turquoise is one of the few fragrances that reminds me of being near a body of water, but not really smelling aquatic per-say. It's just green enough to make me imagine a field full of reeds blowing in the breeze, wild flowers dancing, and a little pond with waves barely ruffling the surface. Sounds so sweet and inviting, huh?!

The delicate florals and interesting greens are very well balanced, and the rum in the cool/dry-down was a super pleasant ending touch! It has excellent staying power, however, fairly light on me - very close to the skin and smelling clean/fresh! I wish it was a little stronger, but maybe that would ruin it's soft, cool vibe.

I can already envision myself wearing this fragrance during this summer with a crisp white shirt tied around my waist with a cute little denim mini skirt, a braided ponytail, and of course, some fabulous, casual turquoise jewelry! Any age can sport this aroma and clothes for some fun times ... Ha! Seriously, though!

To sum it up further: Pure Turquoise is sensual, a little earthy, but completely 'pure' and gorgeous! The dry down lets the rum shine through, but the beautiful heart of this perfume stays true -- pure! This is a new favorite Ralph Lauren perfume for me, besides Lauren, of course - that's another story for another review (powerfully yummy!) TRY IT & ENJOY!
