Surprise Note/Combo!
by Heather on Apr 9, 2014
I try not to guess how I'm going to feel about the smell of a first-time perfume that I'm going to apply on any given morning. However, I did just that with Pure Nautica (shame on me.) See, I thought it was going to be just so-so. WELL, let me tell y'all something:
When I really like something, I say, "good deal!"
I've heard/read that some people feel like PN is very similar to Fahrenheit by DIOR but maybe not as strong. Others say it's absolutely NOThing like Fahrenheit. Well, in my opinion on my body, it is definitely more fresh than Fahrenheit, yep, a plus, but an obvious note-combo/blend is present that for sure smells JUST like Fahrenheit - a gasoline smell, but not like being at the pump, y'no what I sayin'?! That gas smell that is so delish for some reason or other that simply cannot be denied! It's addictive really! Here, it's a very 'soft' gasoline scent that mixes well with all of the other notes. It's actually comforting and 'lovely', if you can grasp that! I personally love it!
I find this fragrance very interesting, different, and enjoyable! It hangs around a long time too ... just when you think it's totally gone, you turn to go somewhere or stand up and it hits you - YES, that's what we like, right?! Even the next morning before my shower - it's still there making itself known ... even that intoxicating, enticing gas smell!
'High Five' and recommend it highly! I can't wait to sport it again soon! I have some other perfumes that just came in that I want to sample first, but, Pure Nautica, "I'll be back!"

smells very similar to Nautica White Sail
by Jeffrey on Dec 22, 2013
This fragrance smells very similar to Nautica White Sail with the exception that it has some type of pungency to it. I don't read that it has pepper notes which can make a fragrance more pungent. Otherwise, it's nice. I prefer White Sail over this one.
