  1. Ordinary

Overall I'm not too impressed with Jo Malone's "Blossom" scents for women. This one smells ok, it's not offensive but kind of plain and mild.
  2. This is not a Unisex perfume.

by Jeffrey on May 10, 2014

I ordered a sample of this anyway cause it was so cheap for a 1 ml size even though I had doubts about it being unisex. I looked it up on "Fragrantica.com" and they say it's for women. This isn't the only perfume that this site made a mistake on saying it's unisex when it's not, like another example:"Iris & Lady Moore" by Jo Malone, which I also tried. So I would always look up the unisex frag. on Fragrantica just to be sure.
So getting back to this fragrance. It does smell too feminine on me anyway and I wouldn't want to wear it in public. The smell of it is very nice. It has very good longevity and sillage. The scent of this frag. starts off being both floral and fruity, just slightly sweet and then during the final stages of the drydown it smells more like hairspray on me with some slight floral/fruit accords. The other thing about this frag. like the other reviewer said, is doesn't smell like plum blossoms, but there is the fruit note in it that I can smell which I guess smells like plum.? My parents had plum trees years ago in their yard and even though I havn't smelled those blossoms in years, aren't they suppose to smell similar to apple and cherry blossoms? Well this frag. doesn't have that scent in it at all.
  3. where's the plum

by VerbenaLuvvr on Jul 12, 2013

I have 14 plum trees in my mini-orchard, and this scent smells nothing like true plum blossom, IMHO. The first joy of spring is the wonderful fragrance from the plum trees, which always bloom first. Very disappointing that Jo Malone was not able to capture their true essence with this product.
