  1. Rose with an edge

by Kaitlyn on Nov 18, 2018

I was expecting something more sweetly feminine from this one, but it sure packa a punch! Has kind of an old-world elegance about it
  2. Men always compliment this. Always.

by Teresa on Oct 1, 2018

I have been stopped by men in department stores, in line for coffee, in bookstores, literally just walking down the street, and every single one asked what perfume I was wearing, and they all made--word for word--the same comment: "It smells so clean!" Now I know that doesn't sound bell-ringing sexy, but they all wrote down the name and said they were going to get it for their wife/girlfriend. If that's not a great perfume, what is?
  3. Sherry

by Sherry on Mar 19, 2018

I am very hooked on this one. I love the lightness and it is not overpowering but there is something in there with a little edge to keep it interesting. I compare it to Joy or L'air du Temps which are another two of my very favorites. Great for Spring scents and can be layered to add a little zip. This will always be in my repertoire. I would like to try the edp next time.
  4. Very girly

by Leigh on Sep 15, 2017

Ultra feminine, light and airy. Doesn't last on me, and leaves a laboratory-type hygienic smell behind. Still, it's lovely for people who like that sort of thing.
  5. Classic but not for me

by lls on May 19, 2017

Unfortunately, rose perfumes tend to go sour on me, and Paris is not one of the exceptions. Worth trying if this is not a problem for you.
  6. Classic

by Jeri on May 18, 2017

This is a very feminine fragrance to me. It is light and springtime flowers, but it has a fairly strong powdery note too. It was one of the first "fancy" perfumes I ever bought for myself. Still love it!
  7. Secret admirer.

by Desiree on May 16, 2017

Does bring the picture is receiving a beautiful bouquet from an anonymous person, usually always wonderful smelling flowers. Classic and flirty to say the least, I enjoyed wearing it.
  8. Paris

by Amber on Jun 8, 2016

This perfume has been in my collection for a long time. It lasts a long time and is one of my favorite floral perfumes.
  9. Not me

by Alishia on May 23, 2016

I have been revisiting classics lately and I stumbled across this one. There's a lot of rose releases lately and I figured it could be fun. The rose note is very green and a little sour for my taste. I've found much better roses. If you do like it, it does project and last decently.
  10. Crystalline rose

by Rose on Apr 12, 2016

This does hark back to the 80s, but for a new generation I think it's a great choice too, especially since there's been such a rose revival in perfumery in recent years (Stella Rose and Kenzo Flower, 'Juliette Has a Gun' etc to name a few)

Paris, to me, is like an enormous bouquet of cool pink, utterly fresh roses wrapped in irridescent cellophane and handed to a violet-eyed beauty after her stage performance.

It's hyper feminine, with a dewy, bright clarity that feels almost crystaline, yet isn't sharp. No wonder this is a timeless classic, I've tried around fifty rose-centred perfumes, and this is one of the best. But, you must love roses, and classically feminine scents to enjoy ti. It makes a statement for sure!
  11. Elegant

by Gail on Apr 9, 2016

Elegant with an old world kind of charm. Very sophisticated. A classic to keep.
  12. Lovely

by Kathleen on Mar 26, 2016

Very floral and sophisticated scent. A classic.
  13. Rose and Violet (Sometimes)

by Laura on Jan 13, 2016

I tried this out in warmer weather and got a heavy fragrance with prominent rose and violet notes. I loved the combination and the fact that I didn't have to reapply after 2 hours to smell it again without going to my wrists. Now, it's the dry, cold, winter season and I don't even get a hint of the violet so I shall wait a few months to enjoy this one again!
  14. Whew!

by ASHLEY on Jan 1, 2016

    Too strong. Too much.
  15. Disappointed

by Nazia on Mar 18, 2015

I had high expectations for this fragrance, and maybe this is an example of where reformulation ruins something beautiful, but I found this sour, harsh, sharp, and slightly grassy. If there is rose, it is a very sour rose. Unpleasant :(
  16. Floral

by Margaret on Mar 1, 2015

Nice floral scent - top note of Rose - not overpowering
  17. lovely, elegant, versatile

by Stephanie on Nov 14, 2014

This is a beautiful, complex scent that would be appropriate for any occasion. It's elegant and sophisticated, yet casual enough for day use. Screams good taste.
