Oro by Roberto Cavalli for women

Absolutely gorgeous, Warm spices, with a creamy floral (magnolia, I guess) and apple pie heart. I haven't liked a perfume this much since (vintage) Opium. Excellent sillage and longevity. Bought a bottle immediately, then a back-up, and am contemplating a second back-up bottle.

I definitely detect the wood notes. Usually I don't like woods, but here they are mitigated well by the pepper and earthy spices and the sweetness of the florals, fruits, and ambery notes.
It is a little bit unusual and strong, and might take some getting used to, possibly.
My mom doesn't like it, and most things are at least ok to her. My daughter and I do like it.
I'd not recommend this as a blind buy, except I was able to find a full size bottle online very cheaply, so I took the risk.

Oro - pure gold! The heart of this fragrance contains pepper, which sets the stage for a circus act of spicy accords. They jump in and out and all around. You have the sensation of sweet and spicy nutmeg with a vanillic kick - that's the pepper. YUMmy! This scent is warm and sightly pungent - sincerely sexy. But wait, there's more besides spices ... lilting top notes with a soft, woody base that completes the composition. I realize a good 4 to 6 hours of smooth gold. That's pretty good, I'd say!

A lot of people compare Oro to Dolce Vita. When I wear Oro, I experience a more powdery, luxurious feel! Dolce Vita is more vibrant and spicy. Both are part of my perfume collection, and both are gorgeous!
