I messed up!
by Olivia on Sep 27, 2018
so i was after this scent for a long time... I went to Ulta a few months ago to cop it. what I didnt know was that the outer box was the opposite color of the actual bottle. I immediately swiped the pink box thinking it was this perfume but the bottle was black when I opened it. I was after THIS one due to the patchouli note. I was super bummed but tried to make the best of it. I didnt return it. instead I came back to ol reliable (myperfumesamples) and ordered this one. I loooooove it. for MY taste... its way better than the black bottle. but now I have both to wear on different occasions. I'm planning to buy the pink bottle when I have enough extra money.
Sexy as h-e-double hockey sticks
by DANIELLE on Apr 11, 2018
This scent is in a league of its own. Reminiscent of a bygone era but with a rebellious modern edge. The musk, patch and rose on the dry down are linear but in my opinion, balance one another perfectly. Like I need to be wearing a pair of skin tight levis with the knees blown out sporting a vintage AC/DC t-shirt. Or this could definitely pass with ease in a little black dress with stilettos.
The opening is definitely sharp and loud, like climbing a roller coaster, you know the top is coming and you'll be thankful at the bottom of the first hill. The dry down is so worth the ride. It's different, sexy and screams "you gotta know who you are if you plan on wearing me." I dont think this bring in the compliments of others, I dont think its offensive either. It does tend to stay close to your skin and the longevity is incredible, I'd say at least 6-7 hrs easy. Be indulgent to yourself if your a fan of these notes but be patient with it.

I have the EDP and EDT versions, and I keep going back and forth on which I like better. I had decided I liked the toilette the best, but now I think I prefer the parfum. They are both so pretty, I would love to own a bottle of both for their slight differences. They both open with an intoxicating boozy scent that I adore. I wish I were better able to describe the differences, but the main thing I'm noticing now is the parfum is slightly stronger, as would be expected, and lasts longer. But the toilette is beautiful with its lighter touch. I highly recommend taking advantage of what MyPerfumeSamples offers and trying both!

Very original, nothing smells like this. The muck is perfect with the sandalwood. I find it more feminine than the Edt.
Strong rose note
by Denette on Feb 17, 2017
I gave this a try because I had heard that it smelled very similar to SJP Lovely, which I love! To my nose, yes it does smell very similar, however, this one has a very strong rose note that makes it feel heavy. Pair that with the dry, almost dirty musk that NR uses and is known for, and it feels very stuffy...almost suffocating. Even though this one and Lovely do smell almost identical, I much prefer Lovely as it is lighter, sweeter, and well...more lovely!
Very Similar to the EDT
by KE on Feb 14, 2017
Extremely similar to the EDT despite the difference in notes. And despite the fact that this is an EDP, I find this to be softer and subtler with less sillage and longevity than its EDT counterpart. This is also less sharp and more rosy. I would recommend trying both, particularly if you already like one of them.
Stampede of rose
by Sharon on Jun 10, 2016
It's perfumes like this one that give me an all new appreciation for rose. (Heck, and musk!) These two dominant notes aren't ones I typically seek out or go weak in the knees for, but here they're just so soft, feminine and pretty. It does have a freshly laundered quality - clean, warm. After a while, the rose wanes a bit and peach and sandalwood come out to play. For me, peach and sandalwood are a great match that always go so well together, and there's no exception here. This is when it goes from powdery to a little more creamy, as well.
Somehow, this reminds me a lot of Midnight Oud by Juliette Has A Gun. Much less woody, but the rose in each fragrance stampedes through your senses just the same way. And, both fragrances remind me of walking through the woods in the springtime - trees and bushes just bursting with fresh blooming flowers. Feminine, sensual yet inoffensive - It makes for a versatile scent that can be worn for just about any occasion.
NR For Her

It grows on me. Could not smell much after the first try but gave it another chance and actually enjoyed a gentle musk note. Office appropriate and feminine perfume.

This fragrance is wearable and I highly doubt it would be offensive to anyone. It is also extremely boring! I'm very glad I sampled it instead of doing a blind buy!

This is a very feminine, beautiful scent. It unfortunately does not linger.

Very sexy, lasts long. This one is for musk lovers!
by Alicia on Feb 25, 2016
This is the fragrance to which I go when in doubt: it is always appropriate. gentle but bright, a musky floral with a touch of chypre, sensual but always elegant.

IT smells really SEXY but not over powering
by Kadaffi on Aug 24, 2015
I'm so glad I found this site as I would have wasted a ton of money on scents I would hate if I just read reviews and ran with them. Perfumes show me just how wildly varying each person tastes are. I found this sent to be uninteresting and unpleasant and I'm very happy I purchased a sample before wasting my money on a full size.
Warm and Sensual and Perfect
by Niki on Jul 2, 2015
This is a top 5 for me. It may be #1, even. And I have tested a lot of fragrances. This is just beautiful in every way I can think. First off, the sillage is perfect. I love the way the musk and rose jumps off of me intermittently. It's even better when I get a little hot. The projection is just perfect. Not too much. The longevity is all day. I love that I can pick out each note and that they are all perfectly balanced. I also love that the scent is linear. It stays the same (perfect) on my skin all day. Warm, sensual, feminine, animalic, and with a small touch of perfect sweetness - love love love. So much love.
Good Musk Scent
by Nazia on Apr 30, 2015
This is a very nice musk scent. It lasts a long time, and I can smell it throughout the day. The opening is nice and fruity, and you can smell the fruity rose throughout the musky drydown. My one problem with this is that the whole fragrance smells like the drydown of Modern Muse to me. So I'd rather purchase Modern Muse with all its strength and dimension as opposed to this fragrance, which is nice, but simpler.

So, I first sampled the EDT of For Her since it was so highly rated and absolutely adored it! I almost felt like there was no way anything could be better.... I wouldn't say that this is better but definitely in the same playing field. This one (EDP) I feel is a little more on the elegant side and the EDT is more casual as it gives off this beautiful clean scent which is bizarre b/c I normally dislike clean scents (who wants to smell like a dryer sheet??) but it is definitely so much more than that! Both are on my wish list! A+++
