Lipstick Rose by Frederic Malle for women

Lipstick Rose is so pretty and wearable. It's not as edgy and ornery as some rose perfumes tend to be-- just lovely and comfortable and friendly. I need to repurchase another sample!

Do not let the price scare you away. This perfume is amazing, i spray once on the back of my neck and it lasts at least 10 hours. Treat yourself!

This stunned me, I didn't want to fall in love because of the price, but wow. Smells exactly like lipstick and rose. It lasted about 9 hours. So beautiful!!!

So pretty, and very feminine! This opens with a huge burst of sweet parma violets, so delicious it made my mouth water

After the violets opening it calms to a lovely rose - deep pink in feel (not a sharp tea rose) which in combination with the violets and vanilla still has this edible quality that reminds me of rose flavoured ice-cream.

It has depth and warmth too thanks to amber, which with its slightly salty touch adds to the candy or sweets quality. I can't pick out the vetiver exactly but there's a tiny touch of smokiness perhaps thanks to Vetiver, to add to the alluring feel.

It's a very pretty scent, noticably so, I got compliments from a couple of friends the first time I wore it.

As for the lipstick feel, yes, it's very definitely lipstick-like - similar to L'oreal lipsticks, though slightly sweeter - definitely for carefree parties in summer wearing your prettiest dress!

This smells exactly like a fresh, L'oreal lipstick. Quite unusual but still very prim and proper. A retro feminine scent for pin-up girls.

again, like all FMs, amazingly complex, long-lasting with amazing sillage, but at $300 a bottle it's just too expensive...
