Worst of YSL

I gave mine away as soon as I took a whiff. Definitely recommend L'homme, L'Homme Sport, La Nuit, and Opium. -
Not a fan of the drydown

I liked the opening, but the drydown was too sharp for me. Perhaps it was the pepper?
Really, once the top notes disappear, and the midnotes come in, it starts to become offensive. If the top notes had lasted longer, I could have endured the sharpness. Without them, it's just too much. -
Kinda Generic; A Bit Too Spicy

I get primarily violet leaf, anise, and spice. For my nose, like a few other fragrances I've tried, the spice is a bit overwhelming. Otherwise, this is a pleasant if not kinda generic scent. Not really for me due to the effect of the spice on my nose. -

L'Homme Libre is a fresh spicy warm weather fragrance that could be worn day or night.
The fragrance is pretty linear. It opens with violet leaf and pink pepper and dries down to patchouli and vetiver.
If you're looking for something different then the typical summer citrus, you might like this one.
