L'Eau de Tarocco by Diptyque for women and men

I've been searching for a fresh, clean scent that is interesting, unique, and doesn't smell like detergent or fabric softener and is not a "blue" aquatic because I hate those. This is the only type I feel I don't have in my collection because I haven't been able to find one that was beautiful and interesting enough for me to want in my collection. After lots and LOTS of searching, I finally found it. This is a stunner - fresh, sophisticated, complex, perfectly balanced, and unique. No one else will know what this is, but I bet they will want to know. Light and versatile enough to use during the day, for any occasion and in any season and beautiful enough for a casual evening out as well. Much more complex and interesting than all other "fresh" scents I've tried that have just been "ok". I'm glad I waited it out for "the one".

Heavier scent with spice and citrus.

Who thinks tobacco smells good?? What were they thinking?

blood orange heaven! wish it was an EDP or that it lasted longer...

The description is all things that I like to smell, but I'm undecided whether it works in practice. I'll continue using my sample though, it's kind of nice but just nothing as special as I'd hoped. I don't 'feel' anything from it.
