Le Vetiver by Carven for men

Not a fan.

Le Vetiver is actually a reformulation of Vetiver by Carven which came out in the 50's and then re-edited in the 90's. Maybe it was reformulated then too.? I have a vintage sample of the original Vetiver by Carven which is much stronger.!

This fragrance screams of lemon like lemon cleaner or lemon furniture polish when it first hits my skin. The strength does fade a little and so does the lemon odor. I don't know what causes that scent as there's no "lemon" note in it. Maybe it's the combo of gin,Patchouli, and orange notes.? I do detect the vetiver but it's not very strong. This has a aromatic soap smell afterwhile. That's better then the opening. This isn't a fragrance I would consider wearing and I believe there's other better Vetiver fragrances out there, like the one I own, "Vetyver" by Givenchy. :)
