La Petite Robe Noire Couture is, by far, my favorite of the LPRN flankers! I really wanted to love the original, but the licorice note was just too persistent (I could still smell it 24 hours later!). This version has no licorice and the raspberry is a delicious jammy raspberry as opposed to a sharp tart raspberry. It also is balanced well with patchouli. This is what I compare all fruit-chouli fragrances to...it is my favorite!
Delicious raspberries

I normally run far away from any perfumes with a patchouli base, but it's used so beautifully in this. The raspberries actually smell like real raspberries. I can't get over how real the fruit elements are. It manages to steer clear of being too young with the vetiver and moss. It's still sweet, just in a grown up way. I think this could appeal to all age ranges.

Among all the Robes Noires, including the original, this is the very best. I thought most of the others inoffensive, but I find this one charming. Here Guerlain's magic is back.

The raspberry note in this is divine. I usually find raspberry to be a little young in most perfumes but this is balanced with a mature warm tonka. Quality is exactly what you'd expect from Guerlain. Lasts forever.
