Wholly pleasant

A very pretty, sparkling, yet simple fruity floral. It reminds me of strawberry smoothies. It's edibly juicy, yet bursting with florals and blossoms. A definite crowd pleaser. I can't imagine anyone getting offended by this wholly pleasant scent. I can imagine giving this as a gift to someone who isn't quite a perfume buff, but who likes to smell nice and classy.
Sweet Pea Overpowered

I wanted to love this, as I'm a huge sweet pea fan, but I thought the fruity notes and patchouli took over and gave it a sharpness that I didn't enjoy. They overpowered the gentle sweetness of the sweet pea which I so enjoyed in Premier Jour.

If you love a strong floral this is for you. It does not stay very strong for long, however which is why I gave it a 4.
It's okay....but not for me

I have heard a lot about this Carven perfume but for me, it is a bit too heavy and cloying. I didn't like the overly strong floral top notes. It did settle fairly quickly and warmed up a bit but I just don't think my body chemistry likes this type of perfume or the base notes of it. It was just way too strong and not youthful. For me, I could never wear this during the daytime or for a casual day out. Too heavy.
