  1. Flowerbomb?

by Kaitlyn on Mar 27, 2019

This smells so much like Flowerbomb to me, kind of a waaste if you already have that!

It's a really nice perfume to put on before going out for the night!
  2. Sweet and Sexy

by Jennifer on Jan 26, 2019

Powerful, sweet, sexy, long lasting...I love this perfume!! This is one of those scents that gives me that intoxicated feeling (in a good way!). It starts out strong and sweet, then dries down into a sexy, powdery, wonderfulness! My boyfriend tells me how good I smell, every time I wear this one, so I choose it often for our date nights!
  3. la vie est belle

by Rosalina on Nov 9, 2018

I love all lancome products. This scent is the bent yet! I love he floral notes.
  4. Elegant

by Gail on Jul 13, 2018

An elegant scent for a true lady. The "ingredients" are blended so perfectly in this one that it is hard to isolate them. The scent just takes on a life of its own. Something joyful about it, befitting to its name. A masterpiece.
  5. It’s ok

by Heather on May 14, 2018

My first impression was no. It smelled very tart, almost sour. It does smell better once it has dried down. I need to try this one again.
  6. Just gorgeous

by Fathima on Dec 3, 2017

A very safe but gorgeous scent.
  7. I stand corrected

by Ruth Synnove on Nov 17, 2017

I gave this a poor review some days ago. I might have tried it the wrong way, I don't know. Yesterday, I sprayed this inside my elbow before going to sleep. I found myself smelling it and smiling till I fell asleep. Smells like dessert, a good drink, christmas dinner, family and love, all at once. It is perfect for me, and I AM buying it!
  8. Still Not Sure

by Heather on Oct 14, 2017

I loved this as a sample in a magazine. I went to the mall and sprayed a little on my wrist. I hated it. Then hours later I liked it. I ordered a sample of it here and hated it. Now 4 hours later I think I like it again. But I'm just not sure. It smells like something I should wear during the holidays. It's clean and powdery. Like I should be wearing tons of soft pink cashmere in a friendly snowball fight. I'm still not sure if I like it. Happy I picked up the 1ml sample though so I can continue working out my feelings about it :D
  9. Long-lasting....

by Shevon on Aug 2, 2017

I did not like the primary notes; however, the secondary notes are lovely. I sprayed La Vie Est Belle, once, on both sides of my neck and I found it very heavy and overpowering. It made me feel slightly ill. One spritz is all that is required. Overall, La Vie Est Belle is a lovely fragrance which lasts over twelve hours on the skin. That is truly amazing.
  10. Disappointed

by Birgitte on Jun 30, 2017

I like sweet and goumands, but this is sickly childishly sweet. Praline is overwhelming. Lacks complexity. Not for me
  11. The drydown is amazing

by Leanne on May 18, 2017

The opening is sometimes a little perfumey for my taste, but I like it better that Olympea. I sampled it looking for something with a similar drydown to Olympea and a better opening and it didn't disappoint. Powdery sweet and airy and similar to Olympeas salt note. It is a favorite this summer.
  12. Good Like Everything Else...

by Hope on May 10, 2017

La Vie Este Belle is very wearable, has a decent sillage without overpowering and very good staying power on me. The scent is of flowers, fruit, and candy. It probably won't stand out in a crowd and won't likely be offensive to anyone, unless one goes trigger happy on the nozzle.

The fragrance is pretty and would be considered by some to be a little sexy. While I've smelled many scents which seem more complex, it does smell nice and is something I come back to often.

The fruity opening of pear and black current are playful and evoke a happy attitude. The dry down comes fairly quickly on me and leaves me smelling like dessert, with praline and vanilla being the main notes. The fragrance can be smelled on my clothing days after their wear. The glass bottle from the department store is sleek, feminine, and pretty. If you like fruity florals and gourmand scents, you are likely to be very satisfied with this fragrance. :)
  13. Love!

by Ariana on Apr 22, 2017

The perfume was exactly what I wanted! Great size to try it out, and it's great for a travel perfume as well! Very quick delivery.
  14. Love!!

by Vanessa on Apr 5, 2017

I absolutely love this perfume. I got compliments since the first time wearing it. It's a sweet sophisticated scent. It is quite strong so a little goes a long way and it last forever. I can smell this on me all the way up to when I take a shower. I would wear this as a signature scent if it wasn't so expensive and it may be a bit heavy for the hotter days but such a lovely smell. I highly suggest checking it out if you are at all interested.
  15. Just not for me

by Denette on Feb 17, 2017

I think that Lancome does gourmands very well, but I just don't care for this one. The projection and longevity are both excellent, but I don't want to smell like this all day long. It smells almost identical to Flowebomb on me, and that is not a good thing. For a good praline fragrance, give La Nuit Tresor a's much better.
  16. Maybe it's just me...

by Mary Carole on Feb 17, 2017

I was so looking forward to this one as the notes listed made me think I would love it but unfortunately it wasn't at all what I had hoped for. Maybe it's just me...pheromones are a funny thing. It started off with this weird, artificial scent that turned into super strong sour baby powder.
  17. Sweet, But Not In a Good Way

by KE on Feb 14, 2017

Unfortunately, this one was not good on me. It was almost sickly sweet, and on my skin was lacking in complexity. It seemed like many others on the market, without adding anything particularly new or interesting to the mix of notes. A very gourmand patchouli fragrance.
  18. Expected

by Stephanie on Dec 17, 2016

Just another typical, expected scent. Smells like a lot of other things out there. For a perfume to get my money, it needs to be unique and make me say wow and this did neither.
  19. La vie

by Rebecca on Jul 11, 2016

This is one of my favorite scents. But just a warning: it's very sweet and very strong. It's also pretty powdery in my opinion. It's really strong at first, but once it dries down it's my favorite sweet smell and it lasts all day easily.
  20. A beautiful vanilla!

by michelle on Jun 10, 2016

Another beautiful vanilla fragrance! There are a lot out there but my skin loves vanilla so I'm not complaining. I especially love vanilla paired with patchouli. It seems to give sweet perfumes depth.
  21. La Vie Est Belle.

by Amber on Jun 10, 2016

This perfume is delicious. The caramel is very pronounced on my skin. I get stopped constantly hhen wearing this perfume.
  22. La Vie Est Belle

by Tatyana on Jun 8, 2016

Wow, just wow! The perfume is beautiful when applied in micro doses. That's when you get a bright, feminine and happy fragrance that will stay with you forever. I sprayed the lining of my bag several weeks ago and I'm still getting whiffs of LVEB.
  23. Gourmand

by Alishia on May 25, 2016

I get a lot of praline iin this. The patchouli iis very nice. If it was just a tad sweeter, I would hate it. Definitely hits my limit on sweetness.
  24. Typical

by Rose on Apr 12, 2016

Apologies to lovers of this perfume but I reckon within a few years it's going to seem very dated. It follows on from the 'Angel' trend, with a sweet fudge note paired with patchouli. That trend began in the late 80s and I wish they'd change the record.

Sorry to be critical, but I suppose my review gives an alternative view as loads of people love this perfume, and the sweet notes are flirty etc. I can't see Julia Roberts wearing this, it lacks elegance, I find it sludgy, but in her 'Pretty Woman' role yes, this would be perfect!
  25. Nice, but Uninteresting

by Nazia on Feb 21, 2015

This is pleasant throughout, but reminds me a lot of popular celebrity fragrances (like Katy Perry's Killer Queen.) Maybe they were copied from this one, but I wouldn't use this too often for fear of smelling just like everyone else.
  26. My new favorite Lancome

by Brenda on Jan 23, 2015

This has become my new favorite Lancome fragrance and I'm not really sure why. On me, it is complex, powdery, and just a little bit mystical. Good for fantasy outings.
  27. not bad but not good either

by Stephanie on Nov 14, 2014

Just an average blah from me. Nothing special. Won't use it again - there's others that are much better.
  28. Starts off nice

by Carrie on Oct 6, 2014

I like the fruitiness of this scent, the pralines and vanlla but the dry down is not for me. Very powdery. The staying power is fantastic though. A Little goes a long way
  29. I go back and forth!!!

by Adrienne on May 20, 2014

I enjoy the first stage but the dry done does not compel me. I figured out I am not crazy about the patchouli.
  30. my favourite!

by Annie on May 8, 2014

I had fall in love with this scent at first sniff. It is my favourite, the praline and vanilla note are strong on my body chemistry. The longevity is amazing too
  31. Just Awful

by lls on Mar 3, 2014

The popularity of this perfume mystifies me, as does the fact that it has all the elements of other popular perfumes of the moment (fruit, sugar, patchouli), yet somehow combines them in a really off-putting way. Perhaps it comes down to skin chemistry, but on me this is almost fascinating in its awfulness.
  32. Sweet

by Dawn on Nov 26, 2013

I absolutely love this scent. It lasts for hours. It is sweet but not unnoticeable. It is an amazing fragrance
  33. Fantastic

by Jennifer on Sep 7, 2013

For the first time in 10 years, I've picked a new favorite scent. The vanilla is balanced perfectly with the florals and there is something else in this scent that is different. I haven't figured out what it is yet. This one is strong but not to strong so a little goes a long way and it can be worn for day or night. It's a tiny bit sweet with a lot of Sophistication. I get so many compliments when I wear it.
  34. Sweet & a bit Strange!

by Heather on Aug 18, 2013

Upon 1st spritz, this scent has very strong fruits bursting at you. I absolutely detect something strange, but cannot determine what it is. Anyway, this doesn't last long, and then I arrive at the heart which is fruity-flowery. This moment is lovely and lasts for a long time. In the dry-down, I now detect super, overwhelming Tonka bean and vanilla, but not too much patchouli - just enough. It's really quite pleasant, though, and stays close to my skin. Some people say it's really strong, but I don't get that feeling at all. So, to sum it up, it's a pleasant fragrance, but not one I just have to have in my perfume collection.
