It does smell almost exactly the same as the original. This seems more citrusy and maybe a tad more masculine. Its not different enough to my nose to warrant buying a full bottle, but its beautiful nonetheless. -

I'm not a huge fan of the original, but I think I like this better. They took out some of the floral notes, which I didn't care for. -

They took out the floral notes from the original L'eau d'issey. So it's more masculine in that sense and focus on the citrus. It makes for a fresher scent. The yuzu and citron last a very long time. If you like the yuzu from the original then you should try this. -

there's seems to be an entire 'extended family' of l'eau d'issey flankers, turning up at the front door trying to freeload off the original name.
they all, more or less, smell the same.
this one is no different... -

This was a good scent, similar to the original cologne. Maybe more citrus in this one. One thing that is different for sure is that it doesn't last that long. the oroginal one lasts for a while but this one only lasts for a few hours.
Overall, it's a average cologne but stick to the original one.
