Lovely spring florale, much like the original L'eau D'issey, but with that extra touch of new green!

Thankfully the melon note (from the original) is gone in this one and the beautiful lotus and hyacinth notes can shine in this pretty, watery-floral perfume. This is not a powerhouse and seems a little softer than the original. It's a very girly, springtime perfume and reminds me of Waterford's Lismore.
Almost too clean

...if there is such a thing. While I really like clean-smelling fragrances, this is almost too clean, too safe, too good. I am missing a bit of an edge, something personal. While wearing this fragrance, I am drawn to sniff my own wrist again and again, but I am left a tiny bit disappointed every time. It might be a question of body chemistry, but I can't seem to turn this into anything but a very lovely scent hovering OVER my skin, never really personal, never really mine.
