  1. poor

All of these types of Lacoste smell aweful to me. Granted, I didn't smell any on my skin but nothing from the testing strips convinced me that it would be a wise idea anyway. I smelled just about every solid color (not the transparent bottles) in this line up and they smell subpar to just bad in my opinion. Maybe I will grow to like them at some point but not now.
  2. Spicy dark chocolate

by Colin on Sep 23, 2016

Lacoste's Noir is definitely an original fragrance. It opens with watermelon note that is a synthetic but very nice. This fragrance dries down to a sweet and spicy dark chocolate with a patchouli note. Longevity seemed about average. This scent isn't my thing but some people definitely will like it.
  3. Noir Intense

by Kevin on Aug 31, 2016

Noir Intense projects as a fresh neo sport scent. The freshness is very sharp, but the sporty essence is more of a stationary one than it is an active one. I would best describe it as the rush of anticipation. That is the feeling it invokes. The first moments you'll experience this subtle freshness—but the sharpness of the scent will take you to a climax as you breathe it in deeper.

It's a neat thrill, but the thrill seems to die quickly, and then it's gone. For this reason, I would say it's not an everyday scent, and even struggles to make through the whole day. It doesn't get really unpleasant or anything, but towards the end of the day, the vibrance gets rather washed out.

I guess that really does make it like the L.12.12 Black polo in a scent—as the black vibrance should be expected to get washed out in time. It has about the same effect as black clothes losing their vibrance as well—it sucks. It takes something with a thrill and drains the life right out of it.

All in all, I think the technique could simply involve wearing it less. Because the scent definitely makes a thrilling and refreshing scent to spend the day on (too much so to skip out on entirely).
  4. Very intriguing!

by Heather on Jan 14, 2016

Lacoste Black and White are the best offerings in the L.12.12 lineup...hands down. Actually, to me Black is a smoother, yet more intense version of White. It's a comforting, relaxing scent! It's very easy to wear, and...'best of all', there's no musk anywhere to be found here!!!
  5. No musk, people!

  6. One of Lacoste's best

by Sean on Nov 12, 2015

I like Blanc better than this one, but this is probably my second favorite in the Eau de Lacoste line. It opens up with a nice watermelon note, which lingers but gets softer as this dries down.
