Knot by Bottega Veneta for women

This is summer in a bottle. I really love the citrus notes. Very nice pickmeup. Joyful and uplifting!

Knot is a summer fragrance, slightly soapy, very likely from the orange blossom, citrusy, fresh and elegant. It also has excellent longevity, which is not frequent in citrusy florals.

Although this doesn't exactly amaze me, I'm impressed anyway. It's very elegant, definitely up there with all the nicest cologne-inspired Mediterranean style citrus/herby/floral perfumes.

And although I don't normally like peony because I find it a bit sharp and headachey, this perfume is one where it really works. It harmonises with the fresh, natural feel of citruses.

I'm really reminded of various eau de cologne style perfumes, but though I've been wearing this all day I just can't put my finger on one in particular - maybe Eau de Lierre, maybe Au The Vert, something like MFK's Amyris, anyway that doesn't matter, I'd say this is a definite 'go to' easy to wear summer perfume that will make you feel refreshed, elegant and classy.

I sprayed it on around 2pm, it's now 10pm and it's still going strong. I also really enjoyed the scent of it while making myself a fresh coffee - the combined scent of coffee and citrus/floral cologne reminds me of European holidays. Very nice!

Knot disappointed me, because I really like BV Eau Legere, and can appreciate the original BV edp. All I got from Knot was a little high-pitched orange blossom and a lot of aquatic musk. "Very fresh," is how the sales assistant described it. This is not for me. Lasted longer than I would have liked.
