Soft and pleasant, sweet and powdery fresh. You don't need to spray much of Joop to get great performance. Synthetic, yes, but so is Febreeze and dryer sheets, and people like to smell those, so that's not a deterrent for me. Does share similarities with MB Individuel.

Excellent scent. I love the smell. I am just not sure how masculine this is. It smells very fruity. Which some might like.

My go to scent back in the day. Last a long time and with a lot of compliments. Very nice.

Joop is a classic Unique scent. Though I have not worn it since high school. It is not a fragrance that I would go out and get today. In fact, there are a few fragrances that smell like it currently IMO including an Usher fragrance and Mont Blancs individuel.
Has to settle down

The smell is very off putting to me at first, but it settles and becomes a great scent. Bought it for my dad.

The first time I smelled this was in a Playboy magazine. I liked it so much that I traded my friend one of my two bottles of Cool Water for his only bottle of Joop!

this is an average perfume not something extra ordinary, not very good not bad just perfume only, but of course not for me, not racomanded

Great performance, lasts forever. This is not for every man. It is a bit feminine anc could easily be called uni-sex. I gave mine away to a friend that apreciates it more than me. Great quality for the prize.

This was the first men's fragrance to which I ventured out. It is wonderful!
Spicy, berrylicious! I can smell the notes listed, which isn't always the case for me with fragrance. It is nicely priced, but doesn't smell cheap--a well-blended cologne with great projection and moderate longevity.
I may like it even better on a woman than a man. At Walmart, a lady asked what it was I was wearing because it smelled wonderful. When I told her it was Joop, she said, "Oh, I wear that, too, when the weather gets cold!" Joop is such a cozy fragrance that I often spray it on myself and my 11yo son at bedtime, and I'm certain it gives us sweet dreams. Joop makes me happy!
it's okay enough...

quite a sweet smell, but it's gone within 4 hours.
not even a skin scent, it goes completely...
if you find it for less than $10, and can be bothered reapplying every 4 hours, BUY IT!

This fragrance smells delicious, but you must be very careful and use in moderation. It is a juice that wafts around you all day with such pleasantness, but 'only' if you control your trigger finger - it is addictive, so you'll want to spray more and more on, but don't be tempted ... I'm telling you! It really is very nice and unique! PLUS, the color is terrific!
OK so, nothing else smells like this frag, so that's a definite bonus. Jasmine, heliotrope, and cinnamon are fabulous and co-exist together quite nicely - which is normally a very loud party. Here it is extremely pleasant, if you, remember, spray only a couple of times, that is!!

It's nice (smells like spicy berries) but it's too feminine to be a cologne! After a while, the berries wear off, and it smells like dried flowers.
