Rich and Sophisticated

This is a great one to try if you're looking for something with a little more depth. My favorite notes I get from this one are peppery with leather and light tobacco, making this a perfume for classy women who prefer fragrance leaning toward masculine. Not sweet, which is a nice break from current trends. I would categorize it as a floral chypre. It bites green in the top notes and becomes very smooth in the dry down. Too me, very sexy and invigorating. :)

This one is really great, it's so mossy and sweetly green, with lovely full and rich florals. It's one of those scents that I couldn't tell you what I'm smelling, because it has a character entirely of its own. I really like it, but I have a feeling the older versions lasted longer...

Love this.... tried the sample for the 1st time yesterday. It's a classic. Why have I not tried this before now? I love the way the scent settles on my skin. It's perfect.
Sophisticated and elegant without being overpowering

I love all the Balmain fragrances I've tried so far - they are so elegant and understated. This one is no exception - it screams good taste. Such a classic and elegant fragrance, but is lighter than these types of fragrances usually are. The dry down gets even more subtle as time goes on without fading, which is nice. Has a note of freshness that keeps it from being overpowering.
