Jolie Fleur Rose by Tory Burch for women

A peculiar rose, indeed. I can see why there are so many dislikes here - Rose is present but so are a lot of strange elements. I smell the tea leaf almost as strongly as the rose. It's definitely peppery, which I just adore. And the musk is a necessary and lovely addition that really brings it all together. It smells fruity, and perhaps that could be the strawberry leaf, but honestly I'm not very familiar with that note - but it almost smells a bit citrusy to me. Also very green, a fresh clean kind of green. It's nothing like your typical mature, romantic rose. It's almost like a fragrance that was meant to have LoTV but instead has rose. But I think that's what I like about it. Something different and unique.

I like a sweeter rose than this usually, but if this was made with a sweeter rose, it wouldn't smell so good. Turned to a skin scent after an hour but very strong for the first 30 minutes. Feels very clean.

A soft and true tea rose, I thought it was lovely. Took about a half hour to fully develop on my skin.
