Pretty Floral Blend

Idylle has a lovely blend of lily-of-the-valley, rose, musk, and jasmine. Now that I'm familiar with Guerlain's lilac note from Champs Elysees and Idylle Duet Jasmin-Lilas, I can now smell the lilac in this and it makes me love it all the more. There is a gentle sweetness that announces the peony note after the inital top notes have dried down a bit. This fragrance is very unique and warm.

If you are a fan for rose scents, try this! While I am not a big fan of perfumes that have rose notes in them (I find it to be overbearing), this was a wonderful surprise. While rose was definitely the star of this perfume, the other florals combined made a very soft, beautiful, mature perfume. I would wear this at night to events.

Idylle is possible signature material for me! I tried it indoors. I love its smokiness, a touch of rose and patchouli, but mostly, it's a sweet, smokey, flower bouquet for fall/winter, I'm thinking. However, I usually don't like to limit myself to specific times or seasons of the year, so I will just have to give it a real go right now...cannot wait that long! We shall see!!
