Where's the coffee & orange?

I bought a sample of this thinking I could smell the orange and coffee notes, but yet I can't smell either of them. Why make a fragrance when you can't smell certain notes that are put into them.?
The fragrance itself is very nice. It's different yet familiar. I probably smelled something similar to this before but can't put a finger on it. This is a soft to moderate strength fragrance, has has some spice to it. This would be nice to wear in the evening in Fall and Spring and maybe in Winter, too.
