Unique & Peculiar...

This is a peculiar scent. There's nothing else quite like it. Peppery sweet citruses! There's a note that I can't identify that's a little offputting to me - I can see why people meet this with hesitation. But when you really get to take all the notes in together as a composition, it's quite an olfactive adventure. It's green, spicy, a little earthy... sweet without being overbearing. The rose is understated and perfectly paired with the peppery, sweet-hippie-patchouli. Yet somehow, it still feels natural. A peculiar one, indeed! -
Love the coriander

The far drydown of original Bottega Veneta smells nearly identical to Essence Aromatique. I think it is the bergamot. Except EA has coriander, which lends a spicier and sweeter (yet yet ever so slightly masculine) quality.
I must like patchouli, because I don't smell it here much, if at all.
I am disappointed by the weak sillage, though. -

I was really hoping this scent would not be overpowered by patchouli, but sadly it is. You honestly can't smell any other note listed. Quite a bummer.
