Not too sweet
by lls on May 19, 2017
The lime is noticeable, but I didn't get much coconut, and it is not very sweet at all, especially compared to some other Lolita Lempicka perfumes. It's a nice, light floral with lime. The longevity isn't great. I got this for my mother as a potential substitute for her discontinued Coconut Lime Verbena, but she didn't like it nearly as well.
Great summer scent

Fun and beachy, very summer
Am I missing something?
by Vanessa on May 15, 2017
I do not get any coconut or vanilla from this scent, I thought maybe I ordered the floral version but the label says it's the original like I intended. Unfortunately this just smells like flowers with a tiny bit of citrus. It's not a bad smell just nothing special. It does not project very well and the lasting power isn't great. This may work better for you since it does have good reviews, just didn't work for me.
Almost Got the Boot! BUT.....
by Lakecia on May 9, 2017
At first spray it smells like someone spilled their pina colada on me at the bar! Lol....no seriously I was like yuck! But as it dried I began to fall in love with it! A summer, tropical fragrance. Creamy but also citrusy and woodsy.

While some reviewers say the coconut in this fragrance is flat - the coconut in my opinion is the star of this show. It's soft, but prominent....and the hint of lime makes it even better.
I had high hopes...
by Denette on Feb 17, 2017
I had very high hopes for Elle L'aime based on all the hype and love. I have heard it compared to Creed Virgin Island Water, one of my personal favorites, and so I was excited at the chance to save some $, but unfortunately, this one smells nothing like VIW. This one is creamy and sweet. It is light on the lime, and the coconut is almost overshadowed by the floral notes. If you are looking for a good coconut fragrance, I would look elsewhere.
Flat Coconut Scent
by Nazia on Feb 16, 2017
Meh, I had high hopes for this one, but I don't think it's very exciting. It's coconutty, and while sniffing I had the distinct impression of an ice cold watermelon wedge being stuck in between the coconut and the woodsy notes. May have been the lime? Overall, it's not rich enough to entice me - the whole thing feels a little flat.
Coconut and Lime
by KE on Feb 14, 2017
This is an an enjoyable tropical style fruity floral. It is not necessarily a challenging perfume, and its primary notes remind me of a much more mainstream, more feminine version of Creed's Virgin Island Water. But whereas VIW is a more realistic interpretation of coconut and lime, this is a sweeter, more synthetic version. It's worth a try for those looking for a lime and coconut fragrance that leans feminine.

How lovely and coconutcanillery <3

Lovely lime opening. Feels very fresh and clean during this phase. I get absolutely no coconut. The mid to me is all about jasmine and ylang-ylang. The drydown is very nice and I enjoy the combination of vanilla and myrrh. All up this is a very inoffensive, comfortable scent suitable for daily wear.

Very sweet, smells heavily of toasted coconut but with a nice addition of floral notes. Not my personal type of scent, but pleasant.
Warm beach floral
by Alishia on May 24, 2016
Oh Lolita! Every single Lolita Lempicka perfume I've owned is very bold and unique and this one is not an exception. This reminds me of summer and the beach. It doesn't last forever but the notes are beautiful enough to cancel that out. Definitely worth a try if you're brave and bored with other floral fruity scents.

This is a warm weather scent for sure. I kind of like it but I couldn't tell you why. It smells like something from my childhood but I can't say for sure what. It's somewhat youthful: not a "mature" scent (not that it matters, I say if you like it, wear it). It kind of smells like a combination of a white floral parfum mixed with tanning lotion. It's nothing fancy, but it is different. I like different.

A good scent, but a bit strong on me.

To woody on my skin.

Wow-all I can say is that this perfume was a huge surprise and blew away my expectations. I bought it because of my love of coconut but this scent uses coconut in an entirely different and very unique way. Instead of the popular use of coconut that will make a fragrance smell like the beach (which I also love) this frangrance uses coconut to smell like falling in love.

Elle L'aime is a classy yet casual scent. I love the burst of lime mixed with coconut and vanilla. Seems like it would smell amazing and refreshing on a hot summer day. It is one of those scents which is not cloying and shouldn't offend anyone. It lasts a long time on me with good sillage. I'm in love <3
Feminine and lovely
by Diane on Mar 10, 2015
This scent reminds me of Boheme....but seems to be more balanced on me and not so strong of coconut. I'm ordering a larger sample to try as it didn't seem to last very long....but it sure is beautiful while it's there.
Lolita Lempicka RULES
by Beth on Jan 7, 2015
I am a big fan Lolita Lempicka anyways. Elle L'aime by Lolita Lempicka for women is another absolutely delightful fragrance. Very light and airy and ethereal bit with an unmistakable presence.

Bought on a whim and so glad I did. Sweet and unique scent, not "beachy" to me like I expected, but something beautiful that made me pause and appreciate the scent.
OMG THIS SMELLS AMAZING!!!

About 30 years ago someone brought me a gift back from Hawaii. It was this beautiful tropical scent. I LOVED IT but since it was local to Hawaii and there was no internet, I thought I'd never smell it again. Well this is the scent! It's just so good. You can smell a bit of coconut but it's a nice sweet floral. I wish I could explain it better. I will for sure be buying this. Love Love love LOOOOOVEEEE
