Eau Sauvage Extreme Intense by Christian Dior for men

Aromatic and spicy for daytime.

Nothing special, but it's a solid release from Dior.

the lavender, bay leaf, and sandalwood in the top notes linger throughout the entire scent for some reason, causing the fragrance to smell like a pine forest. The lavender alone is quite noticeable by itself and gives this fragrance an incredibly masculine smell. Maybe the appeal is to wannabe lumberjacks? What is certain is that one spray of this cologne has excellent village and good longevity, but it just doesn't smell fruity at all. It smells like overcompensation and wasted money. It will attract a lot of attention, perhaps, just not the kind that will get you compliments. Needless to say, I'm disappointed by this attempt at improving the original ES by Dior.

This fragrance may have a listing of lemon, fruity notes, etc; but the lavender, cedar, and bay leaf transform this cologne into an unusually strong scent. The lavender is almost overpowering. My friends told me that I smelled like a pine forest. Maybe the lavender just isn't for me but I have to warn anyone before they spray this 2-3 times that it will knock you over. It is the kind of scent that will attract a lot of attention, just not the kind that will get you compliments, more like acknowledgements.

Eau Sauvage Extreme by Dior is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for men and is just fantastic!

I am able to detect the fruity/herbal notes first upon first spray. Then a couple of, what seems like, seconds later, I become aware of the basil leaf and bergamot. What makes this frag a real attractive masculine scent are the mid notes of coriander and bay leaf blended with woodsy notes of Oakmoss and Sandalwood! This perfume smells more adventurous, exciting, and manly than the original ES, and that's thanks to the top note of lavender and base-notes of patchouli, cedar, and sandalwood! It's ALL good!

Longevity and Silage are extremely 'big', and I swear I get around 12 hours of wear! Super!! As a matter of fact, it has better longevity than the original and is better suited for all occasions and all year round. Worth having in a collection!!!
