Colette by Tocca for women

This is similar to Byredo's Gypsy Water, but I like it less. It really smells the same when you first spray it on, but it rapidly changes into something a little different - there's some sort of spice in here that makes me feel a little nauseous if I smell it for too long. I don't know what it is - I've smelled it before in a few other perfumes. I smell the lemon note on my skin for about an hour. It's a lemon vanilla, fairly tart, like a sorbet of sorts. This mixes with the amber and other base notes within the first hour after applying on the skin. I can't really smell it on my wrist anymore, but I am still getting whiffs of it from my neck/clothing about 3-4 hours after application.

Overall, I think it's a good perfume. It does smell nice, but I think it's not for me.

It's floral, but it's got a kick of spice to it. I think it smells wonderful, will become a staple fall perfume for me.

Colette is a sort of light oriental, with something in it I find really irritating, like a scratchy sweater. Donna Karan Cashmere Mist has the same effect on me, so if you like Cashmere Mist, this one is worth trying. Good longevity, unfortunately.
