Casmir by Chopard for women

I'm no fan of oriental fragrances, and this one did nothing to sway my view. Even though not listed, I thought I detected a rum note. Powerful and not for me.

This one is apparently a love-it-or-hate-it perfume, and smells different on different people. On me, unfortunately, it opens with a strong nail polish note, and then develops into a cloying, cake-frosting sort of scent. Definitely one to sample before buying.

Okay, I tend to associate scents with things I have smelled before--and this is no exception. I read somewhere online a reviewer that compared this scent to Coty's Vanilla Fields--a more "sophisticated" version of Vanilla Fields. Since I like Vanilla Fields, I wanted to try this one. Well, I am just not a fan. First, let me say, that straight sniffing the bottle before application, it totally DOES smell like a bottle of Vanilla Fields! But, it has a very musky base to it, that is much more powder-y or amber-y than Vanilla Fields....and after a while, it smells (to me) like Kate Walsh's original "Boyfriend" perfume with more musk added to it. It really kinds reminds me of an older woman's perfume to me. I just didn't like it. Blegh. Good staying power though, which is a plus --if you like it!

Pleasantly warm, sweetly vanilla, fruity spice - it's all there! Works excellently on the skin - warms right up and remains that way! This is one of the prettiest sweet/spicy openings I've sampled in a long time...gorgeous! Carnation is definitely the star here - so delicately satisfying! This frag lasts and lasts too - bonus! I just figured out what this reminds me of: my Grandma's peach cobbler crunch pie w/ homemade vanilla ice cream topping it off ... The Best Smell! This is SO delicious; cozy and comforting - it swirls around you all day! Plus, it does not get on nerves like some gourmand scents. I just Love it!!!
