Carte Blanche by Eclectic Collections for Men

I had to try this after reading others positive reviews. I have to say, before trying this out, I was a little skeptical about it, cause of all the "sweet" and "dessert" notes that are in it. Now that I've tried this frag. I get a blast of Orange in the beginning that smells almost synthetic but it gets better. After the perfume dries off, during the drydown I still smell the Orange and then the dessert notes come across. I think of any Orange dessert when I wear this i.e. Orange sherbet, orange cake, etc. I think this frag. is better then the orange unisex frag. by Cartier due to it having a lot better sillage. I'm sure it's a lot cheaper in price. I'm not sure if I would wear this, at least very often. The thing I like about this too is it's not too overly sweet like I originally thought. If you like orange scented frags. then give this one a try.

Oh WOW! Really love this fragrance!!!

This perfume gives you a real tangerine/orange oomph in the opening - super enjoyable and not overpowering...just really pleasant! This juice becomes barely creamy, and I actually don't really detect too many of the gourmand notes. It's pretty citrusy on me for it's entire life on my skin, which is fabulous! Then the balance between salt, sweet, & zesty is absolutely sublime. The rest of this perfume's duration is a barely sweet, woody-cedar warm-dry down. It seems unique to me, because there's not much floral and no musk. Now, I do believe I smell Vetiver, but I cannot be sure...hum! Maybe it's blending so perfectly with the cedar - I don't know! All I know - this woody aroma is GOOD stuff!

I've read many EC Carte Blanche reviews on the internet depicting where people have experienced this perfume as an extremely sweet fragrance, but not to me...I'm glad for that! I'm a woman, and this is simply the best scent I've ever smelled - I'm enjoying it right now, as a matter of fact! It's SOooo comforting!! TRY IT TODAY - YOU WON'T BE SORRY!!!

This fragrance is good but not great. It smells a little soapy to me which is a little off putting. Not as good as the others from this collection.

Carte Blanche was a great choice for me. It's a sweet fragrance, and usually I get a bit scared if a cologne is described as sweet, but this one is structured so nicely, it's sweet and creamy but also masculine. It's fruity sweet with a creamy bend to it. For some reference it reminds me of Lacoste Essential - very fresh, light sweet fragrance. Great Spring Summer choice. Top Notes to me are Tangerine, Cream, and Water notes.
