Strong Floral

My sister bought this for me after reading somewhere that it's a good dupe for Tendre Poison. It is! It seems to me a little "brighter" than Tendre Poison, but quite similar to my nose. It is not a demure floral, it gets right in your face. I love it.
like a lighter Chanel No.5

This has aldehydes, like Chanel No.5, so it is reminiscent of that scent, but this is lighter and more casual - exactly what I wanted, but I didn't think it existed because scents like that are usually pretty heavy and strong - not what I wanted. This is still sophisticated and definitely unique - I haven't found anything else like it out there. Definitely a mature scent (in a good way), and a little goes a long way.

Definitely not a scent you smell all over town. Very fresh and green. But I couldn't shake the feeling that I was wearing a 14 year old's perfume. And I kept asking myself, wait, does this smell good, or should I be mortified?
Growing on me as the years go by.

I've always been a fan of Gres and found this years ago. I used to wear it more in the fall, but now I find that I just like it all the time. It settles into a nice, softly seductive scent without being too spicy or strong. I know this bottle won't last me as near as long as the last one did. Even ordered a large sample so that I can carry it with me when I go out.
