Bvlgari is the brand of 2 of my absolute favorite perfumes, but this particular bvlgari just smells BAD to me. I want to say too mature, although I'm 50... I smell no jasmine, a flower which I actually love... it's just repellant to me, unfortunately.
My favorite of Bvlgari's "Jasmin Noir" series

I really don't care for "Jasmin Noir" or "Jasmin Noir eau de toilette." Actually, I can't really tell the two apart very well, except that one is less nauseating than the other. And "Mon Jasmine Noir l'eau exquise" smells like chemicals. This, however, is heavy, dark, and sweet.
I wore some while performing in my community's Christmas Bell Choir. I felt it was perfectly appropriate: Festive, yet formal, and dark green in color (to my thinking), to match holiday evergreen decor and my dark green velour slacks.

This smells pleasant enough, but nothing really stands out about it. It has jasmine in the name, so that must be one of the notes, right? It's kind of hard to tell. Doesn't smell bad, but nothing to write home about here...
Not True Jasmine

This kind of smells just like "perfume" to me. Like the way that you think of perfume abstractly to smell - kind of sour, kind of musky, a little sweet. If there is jasmine and nougat in here, then it's drowned in musk and citron, so I'm not smelling them as much as I would like.

Since I adore the Jasmine Noir, I thought I'd try the Mon Jasmine Noir, and the two are definitely sisters, however, I found this to be lighter and slightly more floral-makes sense with the Mon Jasmine. It's not as deep or mysterious to me, but brighter, better for daytime intrigue. Still the blend is perfectly balanced to create a well rounded experience. I like it very much, but miss the amber just a little.

This scent would be great for a romantic date. Very alluring but not overpowering. Great scent for the price.
