to me this is a lovely spring scent. it is very pleasing floral that reminds me of a wood hyacinth. i have heard that Princess Diana liked this too. this is one of my favorites because it mixes fresh and floral with just a touch of woodsy.
AVOIDABLE

I had the greatest expectations for this perfume! Such a lovely bottle, such an evocative name! I was dreaming of a field of wood hyacinths... It was not to be. What reached my nose was a nasty smell with no resemblance whatsoever to the flower. Very sad.
Rotten flowers

The bottle is so cute I wanted to get a sample before I bought the bottle. I am so glad I did, because this was awful. It smells exactly like leaving cut flowers in a vase with water way too long, that overpowering dead flower smell :(

I have wanted Bluebell by Penhaligon's for a number of years. Finally received it for Christmas from hubby. I love the soft fragrance that it turns in to. A very feminine, rich leather sprinkled with a bit of cinnamon and clove. Heaven.
