I was very excited to try this based on the name and the notes listed. Unfortunately, this one misses the mark for me. I expected something very woody and dense, but what I got was a sweet wood bordering on powdery. It's not a bad fragrance, I just can't stand powdery fragrances. I think this one leans more feminine than masculine, though I can definitely see a man pulling this off well, just not me.

This is the first Jo Malone that I've tried and I'm not that impressed. Very light and I agree that it could work better as a candle than a fragrance for your skin.
