Savory, but still sweet
by Sharon on Jun 10, 2016
Reminiscent of clean sweat... Of the salty, briny skin indicative of a day spent transitioning from the beach to the water, and back again. Don't let the strange notes scare you off. The caviar notes give it a beachy down-to-earth natural vibe, and the fig here is not the heavy, thick kind.. but earthy, calming, and full bodied. I had no idea what to expect going in, but was immediately delighted. I've since sent samples to several of my friends. This is unique, different, sure. But not bad at all!

An unexpected combination: fig and caviar...yet it works. True, the caviar is only a subtle salty note in the fresh sweetness of the fig and an undistinguishable floral accord.I find Womanity easier to wear than Mugler's previous creations, Alien and Angel, both of which I like. It belongs to what may be called a savory category; a perfume with plenty of character, but not particularly polarizing.

This was just wonderful! You think it would smell strange because of the notes, but they work wonderfully together! It is rich and sweet, such a beautiful scent. I might even buy a full bottle!
Sweet and femimine

I blindly tried this scent not knowing exactly what the notes are, and to me, this smells like delicate flowers floating in water with a slight woody undertone to it. To me this perfume smells like youthful weddings. It's sweet, light, happy, and very feminine. Perfectly named. In no way do get any hints of salt or fish.
As with all Mugler fragrances, silage is moderate to heavy, and I can smell it even after a few hours of application. Does not disappoint.
I Think I'm in L-O-V-E!

I read a lot of reviews before buying a sample of this, and I was really on the fence for a while - it seems to always be either a scent people love or hate, and I think that has everything to do with body chemistry. What ended up selling me was some random article that said it was supposed to be a really great woody scent, which I tend to favor. Plus, the idea of figs and caviar seemed too intriguing to pass up, and my chemistry has a naturally salty/acidic lean, so I thought it would be a good match. And oh my goodness, is it EVER. I know it's so wrong (particularly since I usually apply perfumes with an extremely light hand), but if I could jump into a bathtub of this stuff, I would. It's like nothing I've ever smelled before - sweet and fruity, and yet with that salty note that just keeps my nose coming back for more. I think it's an extremely sexy, feminine, and unique smell. A bottle of this stuff is DEFINITELY on my wishlist! I almost hate to recommend it because it feels like a secret weapon!

I had heard such good things about Thierry Mugler. So I was excited to try a sample, I got my sample of Womanity an was kinda dissapointed. It wasn't a bad smell, just not for me.
I am not a fan.

Womanity is a very unique fragrance. It is fresh, feminine, light, but long-lasting. The combination of fig and caviar is lovely and very interesting. I can see myself wearing it often in the spring and summer months.
so very unique!

This scent caught me off guard. I'm a big Thierry Mugler fan; I love them all, but this one makes me stop and take a moment to experience it fully before I continue my day. It's new every time I put it on and there is a very sexy undercurrent to it.

it is cool refreshing, light, I just love it . I would wear it more than I wear Angel.
Fig & Caviar are opposite soul mates!
by Heather on Jun 29, 2013
I really like this fragrance! It is so different from any other perfume I've 'ever' worn! The opening is very dramatic - almost sharp and a bit salty (the caviar?!) Immediately I smell and feel the fresh figs. They are subtly sweet. Now, when I go outside into the Texas heat, the salt is extremely prominent. But, wait, fig leaves come into the picture - like freshly picked off the tree moments ago. Then the fruit shows itself to me again, only very detectably and sweeter this time. However, the sweetness is a rough sweet not a charming sweet. Yum…this is why it's so different than any other fragrance. The fig components mixed with the caviar make divine companions, like opposite soulmates!
I probably will opt to wear this frag only in Spring, Summer, and maybe a little into Fall, but definitely not in the Winter coldness…my thoughts at least for now, but we shall see come Winter. To sum up this perfume in another way: it's like having just spritzed on this fine juice directly after a really hard workout and a nice long shower. Womanity makes me feel like an extraordinary woman; a powerful fit woman; a woman with strong purpose; a woman who has no need or desire for weakness!
