It smells distinct of patchouli, and not the barely-there fractionated kind found in so many modern fragrances. Still, it's smooth, rather than dark or hippyish. I didn't think it was ultimately very interesting, but it's worth trying if you're looking for just the right patchouli.

Black Orchid is better but this is good

Definitely a sample I will keep for reference. Somehow I can't stop sniffing. It's a hypnotizing deep white floral bomb on a heavy patchouli base. I just wouldn't recommend anyone to actually wear this. A bit too much.
Roll the dice

All of Tom Ford fragrances are like rolling the dice at the casino. I wanted so bad to like this one, but a craped out... what a bummer I was looking for the patchouli, but cou l don't find it

This dries down to a nice light patchouli on me but the beginning is weird. It's kind of medicinal and just strange.

I love this Tom Ford release. The patchouli is very lovely and deep. The top fruity? notes are brilliant.

I like this one very much and would love a full bottle when I have some extra money to burn. The bergamot and jasmine in this are very bright and uplifting as the top notes are awakening citrus. I like spraying this as a pick me up when starting my morning or mid-afternoon for a little boost. For me, the dry down is more mellow and smooth. It doesn't smell like everything else, so that's a plus. I think it would work equally well for men or women, especially if they like bergamot (which I love!).
I did not like this.

I am not a fan of Patchouli, so I thought this sent was loud. I did not enjoy this scent.

At first, this was not so pleasant. It smelled like aged red door perfume, a mix of sour dirty and perfume spice. It reminded me a lot of Jessica Simpson's Fancy Nights. I couldn't see where the "White" was coming from, because I was only getting PATCHOULI. It dries down softer and nicer, with creamy white flowers blending gently - however, it definitely still smells like other scents I've smelled before. Expected to be wowed, just wasn't.
nicer dry down
by Stephanie on Nov 18, 2014
I'm a fan of patchouli so I had to try this. Upon initial spray, I liked it, but I like the dry down even more. It's softer, less stark, and it has good longevity. Very nice, but for the price, it would have to knock my socks off, and it doesn't, so I won't purchase any more.

If you love patchouli get, but I am not a fan.
