I really wanted to love this one. I love summer scents and anything with coconut. You can definitely smell the coconut in the perfume however, the other notes come off as floor cleaner to me. So sad this one did not work for me.

Wonderful coconut that smells scrumptious. Love it, although I can't see wearing it anywhere than on vacation to an island. Would be good for man or woman.

This is one of the very few scent that actually can be worn by both man and woman

Perfect for summer. Love the note of coconut.
whiffs of coconut
by Nate on Jun 10, 2016
This is nice for a unisex fragrance it has whiffs of coconut that I was looking for not as strong as I was hoping for but it's nice.
The perfect Summer Scent

Instantly transports you to the tropics! Very nice for both women and men. Pairs well with other scents, like Legend Intense.
Sunscreen and rum
by Alishia on May 24, 2016
Beachy. Very beachy. I'd have to agree that its not super feminine but on a man, this is something different. Opens with a nice lime and citrus that disappears into a cocunut rum. It hugs your skin but it lasts a lot longer than you'd think given the projection.
Lovely lime opening, warm drydown
by lls on Jan 14, 2016
There's a lovely fresh lime opening that lasts for less than ten minutes, but is great while it lasts. (Lime reads a little masculine to me, but that's my issue.) That's followed by a warm, sugary, rum dry-down that endures a good six hours. I didn't get much coconut.
Its better than others

This is the only unisex scent that I have found to work for both, women and men.
Not a fan
by ASHLEY on Dec 21, 2015
I suppose I'm not a fan of unisex scents.
Its good :)

Smells like sweet sunscreen to me.. inoffensive, for men or women...because sunscreen is for men or women....overall a very pleasant smell...didn't quite meet my expectation though, I think mostly because it's not very strong, you'd really have to get in close to smell this on someone, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Smells yummy! but..
by Robin on Jun 24, 2015
This didn't last more then 3 hours on me sadly. It's a nice smell, and does remind me of sitting by the beach drinking some coconut rum. I'm not one for floral smells at all, so this was comforting..but, didn't last long enough and to me it's just not worth the crazy high price they put on it.

quite nice and beach-holiday worthy...
but a bit generic. nothing too special...
Great for Summer
by Colin on Mar 31, 2015
A tropical fragrance with great longevity that is perfect for Summer. Virgin Island Water is coconut, lime, and sugary rum. I could also see this being worn by women.
If you like this, also checkout Tommy Bahama's Set Sail St. Bart's.

This has become my new spring/summer fragrance, it starts off with the lime and ends with a nice fresh coconut smell, I love it!
I smell Caipirina or Caipirosca, sugar, fresh lemons, cocktail
by Bridgette on Jul 15, 2014
Mmm. It's like a liquor spiked freshly made sweet lemonade. Sillage could last better, but it dries down with a hint of coconut and flower. Lemon/lime is definitely the main note here though. It's lovely, but a bit too overpriced for me.
Like being on a Caribbean vacation.
by Jeffrey on Jun 27, 2014
I've been wanting to try this frag. for awhile but thought I'de wait at least until the early Spring months, and then myperfumesamples ran out of it. I then immediately ordered it when it came in. I'm glad I did. I like the smell of this very much. This fragrance goes on sort of strong or moderate and then mellows down to kind of low sillage. What I get from this fragrance is a blast of Lime. After awhile the coconut scent comes through and lingers. This also has a very mild sweetness to it from some of the floral notes and sugar cane, plus maybe orange. I wish this would have better sillage but it doesn't which is why I gave it a "4-Good" rating.
I love the smell of coconut on anything and it reminds me of the tropics more then anything else. Not many other frags that I know of have coconut notes in it. "Santos" does but it's more for summer evenings. And I think "CK one Summer 2014" does also but the Coconut note is hard to detect. This would be an excellent fragrance to take along and wear anywhere in the tropics where there's beaches and coconut palms, not just the Virgin Islands, the Bahamas and the rest of the Caribbean. I think one could really wear this anywhere in the Summer in the day especially when they want that tropical island or tropical coast vacation feel like i.e. swaying coconut palms, warm humid breezes off the ocean, white sand beaches strewn with seashells, etc. I highly recommend to try it out first. I wish I could buy a whole bottle of this but not now as it's too expensive. I'll just buy large samples and just wear it during the Summer months while listening to my nature music called "Caribbean Shores" with the steel drums, sounds of sea birds and ocean waves, and light percussion instruments.
More masculine to me
by Carrie on Jun 26, 2014
This is a nice fragrance. It's a manly coconut. Starts off with a strong lime and dies down to a spicy coconut. I gave it to my husband because although it is a VERY nice scent, it's just too masculine on my skin. So if you're a man, you need not worry about this being too feminine for you.
by Mario on May 6, 2014
smells wonderful for an hour, then the coconut overpowers it. that first hour is 5 stars, thereafter 3 or 4. do try it...
by Gabriel on Mar 8, 2014
Great coconut, pina colada scent! Wish it would last longer though
by Sandra on Feb 26, 2014
The scent is light and refreshing not overpowering at all. You can smell different layers throughout the day, starts out with the lime, then coconut and then it gets blended and becomes mellow. I did reapply but it was worth it, made me feel like I was on the beaches in the Bahamas. Planning on buying a bigger size next time.
yachting in the islands
by VerbenaLuvvr on Jul 12, 2013
Agreed that this is a light, man's fragrance for summer, and for once one that doesn't contain blue/green notes. Citrus is a minor player here. Upon first whiff, I dreamed I was sunbathing on a sailboat with a fabulously handsome man at the helm, the day sunny and breezy with big cotton ball clouds in the sky, the scent of coconut wafting in the air...
