Nice and Fresh!

I like this perfume. It is nice and fresh, it reminds me a lot of my Bvlgari Au The Rouge perfume, which is really red tea based. Often fig perfumes smell very similar to tea perfumes for me. This mellows out a lot nicer than Au The Rouge, which I like. It is a good spring or summer scent!
Garden and seabreeze

This is my newest love. It has a nice salty and airy musk that makes it a fairly ozonic scent, without actually fitting into that class. The green notes are crisp and aromatic and the florals are fresh and fleeting. The fig leaf sometimes lingers like sap, but the cypress and musk really make this fragrance paint an olfactory picture of a Mediterranean shore.

Love this scent!

I've always been drawn to 'warmer' scents, and I think what enticed me was the 'leafy' notes. It's super fresh, clean, but with that unique twist. I've finally found my scent, after years of hit and miss and countless hundreds of dollars wasted in a vain attempt to find a signature scent. Starts rather strong on me, but within 45 minutes settles quite perfectly. Lasts about 8 hours and stays close, within 10 feet.

This actually brought back memories of my time spent in Italy, it really is like a summer night by the sea. The herbs, the salt, the flowers and the scent of sea and the macchia... Somebody dreamt this perfume up Oceanside in Tuscany. But...and this is not meant to be negative, it is more like a little acknowledging wink: top notes starts out with Citronella; a powerful and permeating Italian bug repellant, and this is what makes this perfume so unique to me. You're in Italy, the place where women and men dress and makeup impeccably, hair, attitude and scent in place - but everyone wears Citronella to repel 'zanzare' on top of their expensive perfumes. This perfume feels very authentic to me, I feel like I'm in on the secret...

I was hoping for something similar to Escada Sport Country Weekend, which is one of my favorites, but has been discontinued (of course). That one is the perfect blend of tart and sweet, like lemonade that has just the right amount of sugar. This one did not impress me. I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it either.
Lives up to expectations!

Jean-Claude Ellena´s signature is undeniably irresistible from the second the juice is sprayed on my skin. UJeM is so refreshing, clean and relatively straightforward - not linear, though. I actually bought UJeM with the only intention of brightening up the cold and dull days of this southern US year´s coldsnap. I´m pleased to say...it has truly lives up to my expectations. So now, I´m looking forward to the future to wear in our spring and summer months.
In closing, Un Jardin En Mediterranee is a true delightful experience, and a must-try for everyone (male & female) Hermes and Ellena aficionados!
Warm and sunny

Not as light as the other Hermes Un Jardins, which for me is a plus. Nicely herbal and slightly woody, with fig adding some sweetness and warmth. Perfectly balanced, with moderate longevity.
Great scent, very different

I actually got a sample of this from another store, cause I was choosing a "Hermes" sampler. So on a spur moment, I chose this one besides a few others. This scent smells so nice, and not feminine on me either. Its' hard for me to describe what it smells like but it's very nice. It doesn't smell like floral at all. It's the kind of scent to wear on warm Spring days and summer days. If this Unisex cologne smells this good by Hermes, then I can't wait to try the other ones.! I'm getting this cologne in a larger atomizer spray for next time.!

Big disappointment for me, after waiting so long to try. This is not a feminine fragrance IMHO. I did not detect any citrus top notes, and it quickly disintegrated into something "peppery", which I found unpleasing.
