The perfume was exactly what I wanted! Great size to try it out, and it's great for a travel perfume as well! Very quick delivery.

This scent reminds me of Lovely by SJP, or Lovely reminds me of Narciso. Either way, I really like the musky-ness of it. I think it makes a great cold weather fragrance. One of the reviewers mentioned it has a peppery scent and I would agree. I have to admit, I don't care much for it the first 1-2 minutes it's on my skin, but then it deepens a bit. When I first put it on, for some reason I get the image of the old Listerine bottle in my head. The kind when Listerine was amber colored. (I'm old ;)

I don't normally like musky gardenia perfumes, as they can become overwhelming and make me feel nauseous, but this one is very nice. I think what makes this one nice is that it is not overbearingly sweet. It has sweetness, but not sickeningly. The musk is there to make it feel soft and elegant, and it is ever so slightly peppery. I really smell the vetiver when it opens.

Definitely has the NR woody musk. Begins a little spicy but softens up nicely. Every time I smell this, I melt. This lasts forever and I ALWAYS get compliments with any of my NR fragrances. I'm really not a fan of musk, but its so warm and well balanced that I actually love it in his perfumes. Worth a try!
Woody white chocolate

This has the typical Narciso underlying woody musk which I find really noticable. The Narciso perfume range is so popular and I can see why - they're easy to wear and quite sensual, not too obvious, but I find the musk a bit annoying, it doesn't sem to settle down on me.
In this version it's softened considerably with a milky white chocolate note, it's not too sweet, but that milky sweet thing reminds me of Milky Bars (do they still make those? Showing my age here!) or those white chocolate mice you used to buy in paper bags. Therefore I'd feel a bit weird wearing this as a perfume somehow - I've never felt tempted to rub white chocolate mice on my skin.
I can see how lots of women would enjoy it though, the packaging definitely reflects the 'feel' of this perfume - like a sweet milky pure bath with an underlying musk.

Some vague, undistinguishable florals enveloped in a thick cloud of musk.. For gardenia or rose lovers this is a disappointment while for musk lovers it is a pleasure. I have read an enthusiastic review of this perfume by the famous Luca Turin; I do noy partake his enthusiasm. In my opinion Narciso is a gentle musk scent, but certainly not a unique one.

Florals with a hint of musk.
