Mild Floral Aquatic
by KE on Feb 13, 2017
A subtle aquatic fragrance with light fruity and floral undertones. This is a minimalist fragrance, I feel. One of the original, classic aquatics from the '90s, it's worth a try for anyone interested in aquatics!

I'm only trying the perfume for the first time. I liked it from the first time i have smelled it, i don't smell the melon note at all. It is very aquatic smell, i have a feeling it will become one of my favorites.

I like the drydown on this one. Soft, watery, gentle - no screechiness like when it first starts. When it opens the strength and sharpness goes straight through my nose up to my skull. Glad it doesn't stay like that.
Natural, mild, clean

Strangely savory, not much sweetness. Very light, sticks close to the skin. Soft, clean and aquatic florals pair nicely with authentic, mildly sweet melon. Quite natural, unassuming. Nice summer or beachy scent.

This is a favorite perfume. It is a very beautiful oriental that lasts all day. I always have a full bottle on hand.

If you don;t like this perfume it's maybe because it has that melon-like aqua note made popular in the 90s. That's the reason I'm not keen on it myself, but I still admire this perfume for its classy professional poised woman aura. I just think it smells of the 90s.
Having said that, it probably still works really well in a hot beachy climate, I just got sick of smelling it indoors in posh houses and parties. It tended to be worn by blonde women with well-coifed highlighted hair and it gives an air of shiny clean polish in that somewhat bourgeois setting.
I can see it working on a woman who surfs or works as a lifeguard in Australia or something though, actually the male version still suits the surfer dude style, just please don't over-spray it for indoor events, or wear it in winter, it says'summer' to me

Got this for my birthday a couple years back. This is what I wear when I'm around people with sensitive noses.

This perfume encompasses true beauty with some sort of simplicity and freedom to it. It was created with thought of it being as clear as spring water which resulted in the fragrance being mainly floral based with the woody musk of a spring forest. Its high notes comprise of scents of cyclamen, lotus and melon with the middle notes of peony, carnation and lily which give its character. Its base or end notes are what give it its woody musk which is made up of sandal, musk, cedar and amber.
Pretty, Aquatic Floral

Lotus, lily-of-the-valley, lily, rose, and osmanthus. They're all there and it's a beautiful perfume. There are definitely some aquatic notes as well, mixing beautifully with the florals. There is a little melon note, but only at the beginning and I think it blends nicely with the other notes (this isn't a fruity fragrance). The sillage and longevity are moderate in this fresh, light floral.

Turned After Two Years!

I used to love this fragrance and would faithfully replace it when I ran out. Then I went through a phase of trying scents I had liked years ago, so had a bottle which lasted a couple of years. I sprayed it on the other night and there was between no smell and a bad smell. I guess this is to be expected with the white/water scents? I was not happy.

I know some people love this, but I found it to be a floral disaster - sickening and overbearingly sweet.
