  1. Superb floral

by Alicia on Mar 31, 2016

J'adore begins and ends with a complex yet fresh bouquet of flowers, but with a strong accent in jasmine sambac. Despite its many white flowers, this perfume is not particularly indolic. Sprinkled throughout the scent are notes of sweet fruit, fresh greens, and creamy vanilla. J' adore has gone through many reformulations, but this one, "J'adore l'absolu" is the nearest one to the original. A gem.
  2. Not for my nose

by ASHLEY on Jan 11, 2016

Sorry girls. This is a no go for me. J'adore has been too strong no matter which way they mix it.
  3. More Floral than Fruit!

by Laura on Aug 2, 2015

I really like J'adore, but am more of a floral than fruity fan and I really wished that J'adore had a tad more of a floral side. Well, apparently the genie's out of the bottle because J'adore L'absolu is what I was wishing for. This begins with a slightly sharper floral note which I assume is the ylang-ylang as that is supposedly the top note in this little gem, but it soon dries down to reveal a gorgeous floral heart of jasmine. tuberose and rose. What I love is that none of the floral notes outshine the other. The tuberose is quiet and soft and doesn't over-power the fragrance as it often can. There are "fruity notes" listed as a drydown note but I really noticed that they wafted in and out of the florals as I've never experienced before (here one minute, gone the next, and back again later). It is a similar fruity note to the one you know from J'adore. I never really got a strong woody or musk note in the drydown. The sillage and longevity were better than average for me. Actually, the sillage was a little bit stronger than J'adore and I love a fragrance that isn't a skin scent within an hour!
  4. Beautifully sparkles

by Rachel on Jul 17, 2015

Oh my, I think I like this more than the original. Seems less floral and has a slight bitterness to it that eventually turns into a light, airy, clean scent. almost reminds me of a sparkly pear. What it is....elegant, refined, balanced, and sophisticated.

Almost passed on testing this, as the original J'adore seemed too floral and flat. This somewhat reminds me of Chanel Allure but much softer. Silage is soft and longevity is about 6 hours. Would consider purchasing.
