First on you get heavy lilies of the valley and freesia on dry down (about 45 mins) it evens out to a much softer scent. Even though I liked the dry down, I really don’t like the smell when it first goes on and for me, 45 minutes was too long to wait for a scent to mature..

J'adore gets fairly high ratings on most sites. I know men like this perfume, because I've seen this bought for friends by their husbands.
To me, it's more floral than fruity. It smells nice. However, given the choice between this and La Vie Este Belle, I chose the latter.
Worth the wait.

Not a let down after over a year of wanting to try this scent. Wow. I'm am buying the full size and will be complete. Sexy, illuminating, makes me joyful with every breath. Séduction in a bottle.

The perfume was exactly what I wanted! Great size to try it out, and it's great for a travel perfume as well! Very quick delivery.
I wanted to like it

I truly wanted to like this, based on the notes, but it just smells very bland on me. It gets glowing reviews, but it doesn't smell good on my skin.
Perfect everyday wear
by Belea on Feb 23, 2017
There was once a time where I could tolerate, no, ENJOY, spraying a suffocating cloud of strong perfume on my body. Over the years, most scents (even "light" ones) became extremely cloying and unbearable for me. Therefore, I was faced with a saddening dilemma of not being able to find a pleasant and tolerable scent for everyday wear. The marketing for this suggests that it's classy, elegant, and even glamorously perfect for a champagne-filled evening. For ME, it falls more under the light and clean everyday/office/inoffensive category. For those who'd like to hear my take on what this smells like: NIVEA Cream. Albeit a more luxurious one. 5 stars for me!
Oh my this is precious nectar

This perfume is so good. When I was an apprentice hairdresser my boss used to wear this. It had just arrived to the market and it was so fancy. the advertising on the perfume was gold and luxurious. Anyways.... So my boss used to leave her bottle in the back room and spray it frequently. it was amazing then. We (us apprentices) used to sneak sprays and get into trouble for it, fair enough its really expensive. It was and still is the scent of glamour.... so fancy.....so elegant and the type of perfume bosses should wear.

To be honest, I wanted to not like this one simply because of the cheesy commercials but I actually ended up liking J'adore. It's a fresh, sweet floral fragrance with a hint of an aquatic note that plays nicely with the floral to make it not so overbearing. It's really is quite lovely.
A long-time favorite
by Denette on Feb 15, 2017
J'adore is a classic for a reason. It is a lovely sweet floral that features jasmine with hints of pear and melon. It is so easy to wear and very feminine. It has been in my collection for years and I can't imagine not having it. I have already gone through a few bottles and imagine that I will go through a few more. I hope this is never discontinued!
Nice, But Not Very Different
by KE on Feb 14, 2017
There is nothing wrong with J'adore. It's pretty, well-balanced, subtle yet strong enough to stay and project. Unfortunately, there are too many of this genre for this one to stand out in particular to me. Perhaps all of the commercials I've seen have kind of ruined J'adore for me, as it seems simultaneously not to live up to its hype, and also just seems silly to me after its somewhat embarrassing commercials. Oh, well, others like it!!
Sensual and Feminine
by Lakecia on Jan 5, 2017
I actual like this fragrance but I didn't fall head over heels with it. I can say it is a powerful, powdery, floral perfume that adds to your femininity. I love that it is long lasting and I received compliments, but I didn't get that wow factor. The commercial fooled me lol!

This is in my full bottle collection. It is very fresh and clean. This is a little fruity, a little floral, and very lovely
by Amy on Jun 6, 2016
Not terrible by any stretch of the imagination, but not very notable either.
by Alishia on May 23, 2016
I didn't really like this too much. I didn't hate it either. It seems to be missing something. Pretty average fruity floral with decent longevity. I'm going to have to try this again, its very popular and I still get the feeling I missed something.
Didn't appeal to me
by lls on Jan 14, 2016
Middle-of -the-road floral with a little warmth, but something in it, maybe the tuberose, didn't sit well with me. Good longevity.
by Rose on Jan 14, 2016
This is one of those for the women who enjoy conservative classics like Chanel No 5. I find it a bit tedious as floral perfumes go, but it's ladylike without feeling dated, and a great one for work or low key romantic scenarios. It's not challenging, or unusual, but i's pretty and feminine and that's all a lot of people ask of a perfume, and why not?! This won't offend anyone.

Way too strong. Gave me a headache right away.
Floral Fruity Fab
by Laura on Jun 12, 2015
I'm calling this one a "floral-fruity" because I think of fruity-florals as much more of an in-your-face fruit fragrance and I don't usually like them. I went back for another spray because I was surprised that I liked this one (and let's face it, some of the reviewers here aren't fans). I like that I don't have to wait for the fruity notes to dry down before I notice some floral - from the beginning there is a balance and I can smell the sweet magnolia, violet, rose, pear and let's just face it - a bunch of other fruits and florals - that blend beautifully (there are 18 official notes in this fragrance). I should mention that the "fruity side" of this isn't all citrus which I appreciate (besides a little mandarin, there are also melon, pear, peach, and plum).
I understand one reviewer mentioning that there is a "sourness", but I think it's just the rose and I'm a rose fan (and I personally don't find it sour)...... after all this, I think I just talked myself into buying a larger sample!
by Nazia on Mar 7, 2015
This is pleasant. It is strong, and I do get whiffs while wearing it during the day. It is familiar, so I know I have smelled it before.
This is a fruity floral, emphasis on the sour fruit. Even at the drydown, I get a very sour, fruity rose. VERY sour. Any jasmine is pretty much smothered.
I wonder what the original J'adore smelled like...
Lovely Ladylike Scent!
by Nikki on Feb 20, 2015
I love this scent! It's not overbearing, so it's perfect to wear everyday & to work, but it's also beautiful enough that I can wear it during the evening. It smells just lovely, and is the perfect mix of light flowery scents and pretty musk scents. I think it's my new signature scent!
Powerful strong scent
by Charley on Feb 19, 2015
This one was ok for me.. but won't buy again. Strong perfumed scent. There is something I don't like about it.. I think the rose note or maybe it's overall just overwhelming on me. Maybe will work for you just not on me.
by Ashley on Jan 5, 2015
I had only ever smelled this in a magazine sample, which I liked but it's always a little different in person. I have to say I liked it even better. It's a happy scent for me, and very alluring. I can just envision the little black dress to pair with it right now!
Pretty pretty pretty
by Emily on Dec 18, 2014
Just so pretty. Silky jasmine that feels feminine and subtle. Nothing edgy or "try hard." Just a beautiful lady-like perfume.
by Stephanie on Nov 14, 2014
I smelled this first in a magazine ad several years ago. I liked it so much I tore out the page and gave it to my husband, hinting at a gift idea for our Anniversary. He bought it and I have enjoyed it ever since. It's an aquatic floral that isn't too sweet and has a pleasant, slight tartness to it (which is not that easy to find). It's unique in the perfume world, which I appreciate. I enjoy this one still, and it has kept its place in my collection through several weeding outs through the years.
J'adore my new signature scent!
by Amanda on Nov 2, 2014
J'adore beat out my #1 scent, Coach and #2, Tresur. I received one of those paper samples in the magazine and fell in love. To make sure, I bought samples here. It's perfect for any time, and whenever somebody gets a whiff, they love it, too!
